Job Responsibilities 1. Supervising multi-disciplinary teams of staff including maintenance, grounds, and security 2. Ensuring that basic facilities, such as water and electrical are well-maintained 3. Drafting weekly reports and making written recommendations 4. Overseeing building projects, renovations or refurbishments executed by tradesmen, such as plumbing and electrical repairs 5. Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards 6. Ensuring that the building is clean and maintained 7. Inspection of the flats on a monthly basis 8. Carry out ad-hoc administrative tasks and run errands for the Landlord at all times Ideal Personal Qualities and Qualification 1. Honest, forthright and hardworking individual 2. Able to work independently and taking the initiative 3. Able to take up responsibilities, multi-task and act in the interest of their employer 4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 5. Excellent organizational skills 6. Strong work ethic 7. Able to plan and manage workload effectively 9. Proactive and has a can-do attitude 10. Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, etc) 11. Minimum of OND qualification Desirable Minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role Note: 1. The candidate must be single (not married). 2. Hello Brabus, Excellent designs you have there... I have a plot of land at Ibeju Lekki in Lagos state. Am hoping to build a medium standard 4 units of 3 bedroom flats (2 up and 2 down)this year. As advised, by the land sellers, I will need to do a raft foundation. The land measures 675sqm, I am looking to maximise space without compromising comfort. N:B I am not so conversant with building projects I do need your honest inputs on the following: 1. Typical architect fees (i.e for architectural and structural designs?) 2. Typical fees for a solid raft foundation (including list of materials needed) 3. Do's and don'ts 4. A general sum of what you think the project might cost me, i.e. from foundation to roofing and finishing. I am trying to avoid dishonest contractors who are willing to take advantage of me. I will definitely appreciate your prompt reply soonest. Many thanks |
