FamilyInteresting Facts About Women by linaluv(op): 2:17pm On Jan 29, 2016
A little boy asked his mother, "Why are you crying?" "Because I'm a woman," she told him.
"I don't understand," he said. His Mom just hugged him and said, "And you never will."
Later the little boy asked his father, "Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?"
"All women cry for no reason," was all his dad could say.
The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry.
Finally he put in a call to God. When God got on the phone, he asked,
"God, why do women cry so easily?"
God said, "When I made the woman she had to be special.
I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world, yet gentle enough to give comfort.
I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children.
I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up, and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining.
I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child has hurt her very badly.
I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart.
I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him And finally, I gave her a tear to shed. This is hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed."
"You see my son," said God, "the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.
The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart the place where love resides." How wonderful are the lives of women!

RomanceRe: Message To Guys Who Patronize Sugar Mummies by linaluv: 9:35pm On Jan 24, 2016
OP i agree with what u wrote up here but consider the fact that these women are motherlyand more caring so theres no fear of heartbreak . when a young man dates such women they get benefits from them aside the sex.

but this have spiritual side effect. power must change hands during such relationship.
guys you don,t know the spiritual states of such women. i speak from experience
the young man may not know this.

any man that sleeps with a woman old enough to be her mother is causing damage to himself spiritually.

go study your bible and come back here to prove me wrong

EducationSchools Are Refusing To Give Me My Neco Results by linaluv(op): 3:36pm On Jan 14, 2016
Hello everyone, i was at the school where i sat for mY NECO SSCE exam AND 2010 MAYJUNE , i got there to collect the result on behalf of my brother and the school came up with excuses that i cant collect NECO result on behalf of someone else. another reason again is they inflated the price for collection to N15000 Instead of N10000. They say the extra 5000 is what the person who registered me to them owe them.
i was annoyed when i got to the school and quarreled with a woman there, dont know if shes the proprietress of the school.

The other school has closed down,(2009 MAY JUNE) they don't exist anymore, they no longer have an office.

please what do i do nairalanders , i have 2 sittings NECO and now i intend to use them to further my studies but the private schools aren't helping matters.

can i go to NECO office because of this issue, will i be given the NECO original certificate?
i m planing to send the NECO reslts and transcript to a school in canada.

please i need your advice on this matter
RomanceRe: Are Singles Ladies Under Pressure To Get Married Before Or During December by linaluv(op): 10:22pm On Dec 30, 2015
very correct, i agree with you on that@dollyjoy
dollyjoy:
Maybe you are right@op.

December is the last month of the year and most ladies vowed in january to get married by december.

So their desperation is understandable, they probably dont want to cross over the following year with the "miss" title.

It not their fault though, the society make marriage seem like an achievement.

@monalisa i dont mean to be biased , i m telling you what is obvious in our society, we dont have to pretend that its not real, moreover i find that men are less worried worried about marriage at such period as this december.
RomanceAre Singles Ladies Under Pressure To Get Married Before Or During December by linaluv(op): 9:44pm On Dec 30, 2015
why are there more marriages this December?,
i noticed among most unmarried ladies that whenever the year draws close to an end they kind of show some little/much desperation on concerning marriage(like they try to make moves that can bring a man to them, i cant say thesame applies to men.

i have seen ladies who have been hostile during the year become more friendly to men who are not likely thier choice fpr marriage during this december period .

RomanceWhat A Father Told His Daughter A Day Before Her Wedding by linaluv(op): 12:59pm On Dec 18, 2015
What A Father Told His Daughter A Day Before Her Wedding

My Daughter, tomorrow you will stop bearing my
name. You will be happily married to the man you love. Dont miss me because I have fulfilled my purpose, it is now time for you to start fulfilling yours.
From your childhood, I have raised you well by the grace of God but before you say I do, there are few things I need to tell you about living
with a man and being married. Do you remember when you wrote your WAEC and JAMB exams? You came to me and I gave
you 20,000 naira for the registration? Well, even though I gave it to you, the money was not mine. I know you always thought I paid the fees. The truth is, I was broke… but your mother gave me the money She could have given it to you but she decided to give it to me to give to you.
Support your husband. Some times things will get tough… he will befrustrated. Even though he acts tough, in his mind he has fears… he fear
you may not value him anymore because he has fallen. That is the time to get behind him and support him!
The best way to show your husband you love
him is to respect him! You may argue with him, you may disagree but at the end of the day, let him know he has your respect.
Do you remember the day I screamed at your
mother? What did she do? She was quiet! Do
you also remember the day she screamed at me? What did I do? I was quiet! My daughter learn to be quiet sometimes when your husband is angry. When one person is hot, the other should be cool. If two are always screaming at
same time, that is how big problems start in
marriage.
The first thing to know about your husband is his favourite food! If he has more than one then keep them at the back of your mind. Dont let him ask for it, always prepare it for him.
There was a day your mother caught me
touching a woman’s hand affectionately. I was lust after that woman but I was not yet cheating on your mum. When she saw us… she didnt fight
The lady, she quietly left. I was afraid of going home because all hell will break lose. But when I got home she said nothing. She served me my food. Guilt was taking control over me. I started begging. From that day, I never looked at a woman two time. Who knows? If she had fought and threatened me… maybe I could have run away from the fight into the arms of the lady. Sometimes Silent brings better solution than fight.
Forget those romantic novels you read while you were 21. Remember those Indian and American
love movies? Also remember those too sweet Nollywood films on African magic? Forget them! Don’t expect your married life to be that way.
Life is different from fiction The last thing I want to tell you…. Do you remember how you were born? After our wedding, things were tough and your mum had to do two jobs to support us. I was working as well. I get home 6 PM while she gets home 8pm tired. But when we get to bed… she will not
refuse me my night food. That is how you were born. Dont form a habit of denying your husband of his night food. Be a good wife. You will always Daddy’s girl…

berexio1:
Been very busy of late. Am sorry if I didn't respond to your mentions here. I will get back to u.

Just to modify abit of the post sb wrote here abt the success rates of different categories of scholars.

With my experience with reading almost all the parts of this Travelling to Canada thread and with interactions with people out of this thread and my reasearch also. I would like to add my 2cents.

For PhD applicants- TRV success rate is 99% on first trial.I.e their first application. Doesn't matter if they haven't travelled outta the country before. PhD candidates are usually of high academic standing and most get funding from Canadian institutions. Hence there is little to worry about financially. Canada supports research a lot and we can see this by how they treat PhD students with good opportunities to remain even after their programs.

Master's Applicants-These set of people have a 99% success rate on TRV application on their second trial.I.e applying the second time after a previous denial. A lot get it on their first though when every other thing in the application is perfect enough. Especially applicants on a high academic standing with scholarships from Canada. Research based Masters is a path to further studies in obtaining a PhD. So these guys are potential PhD students. Course based Masters too have favorable success if financial standing is right.

PGD applicants- These set of people usually have a 99% rate on their 3rd trial.I.e applying the 3rd time after subsequent denials. This is after all loopholes have been covered and application is packaged well. A very few people in this category get it the first time. This is not to say they had the most packaged application. But if your application is well packaged, you stand a chance to get ur TRV.

BSc/Diploma- These set have a 99% success rate on their 2nd trial if their age, program, sponsors(parents) are right. Paying tuition for them seem like an advantage to get TRV becos they are perceived as dependants and might not be able to fend for themselves.

U can correct me if I am wrong.
Comments are welcome.

Cheers!
thanks for the information, this will really help many of us on here still processing.
but u didn't tell us what age is best for an undergraduate or diploma applicant who has their parent as sponsor.

my brother is 28 years of age and he intends using his mother as sponsor
his university program is yet to be completed and he says that he didnt make good grades in the university here in Nigeria.
hes applying with his o level result also he currently works with the state government(JUDIciary arm of govt)
of what advantage can his current job be to him during the school application process and getting (study visa)trv process
is his age okay for a 1yr diploma program or a 3 yr university degree program

CrimeRe: I Take Responsibility For The Killing Of 34 Colleagues: Ex-Cult Leader (picture) by linaluv: 3:41pm On Nov 29, 2015
My Prayer is that people learn from this story, theres no gain in cultism. if not for the prayers of his parent , and the help of his brother he could have been killed. this is why you shouldnt disrespect those praying for you.

do not think that u re better off being a hardman. theres a spiritual law in the bible which tells us that, the harder a man becomes the closer he is to the grave.

cultists dont have peace of mind

please stay away from cultism , distance your self from it so you dont die early

why do you re publish this news, the registration has been ongoing since may . so whats the point for re advertising this news again at this time,

The past questions or what ever assistance you promise is not even been fulfiled on your site, theres no link to getting the past questions, all what we see is phone number/numbers to call.

The moderator of this section shouldn't have taken this to front page , there are better topics than these to be posted there on front page
