Guy it happened to me when I was using my big daddy V6, it's just exactly the way you explained it but I went to my Rewire and he told me I have to buy another alternator that the coil inside the alternator is weak that's why it's unable to charge the battery. After fixing it worked. Just go and price the alrrnator for your car then go to the Rewire
