Hey guys, please I need help here. I reside in Lagos but relocated to Oyo State for some reasons and was posted to a school very far from where I wanna stay in Ibadan, Lagelu Grammer School Agugu to be precise. I wanna stay in Oluwo Egbeda LGA and I heard it's really far, how do I get them to reject my service or get posted to another school close to Oluwo even if it's not a school. I don't also need a strict place coz I'll be in Lagos most of the time with my family.
Anybody with an idea on what I should do should please help me coz I'm so confused right now.

Pressure them with style. They're supposed to pay for your transportation (this is stated in the posting letter).

Chip it in before they sign the posting letter that you stay in Oluwo and this is the amount for transportation daily (to and fro), and say:
"The posting letter states that PPAs will pay for transportation and the daily amount I'll be spending from Agugu to Oluwo is..."

If the fare is high, it should discourage them. Exaggerate it if you have to.

The rejection letter should state that you were rejected due to distance and they do not have an accommodation for you.

Does anyone know if Mainland secretariat will be open tomorrow or on Friday?
Or are they resuming next week Monday?

Please o, pple that are just about to get accepted or rejected by their ppa, can they do LG clearance first if their ppa hasn't resumed by January or they can do LG clearance anytime they have gone to their ppa?

This is the orderly process:

- Get a PPA
- Collect accept letter from PPA (Someone from the PPA will also sign your posting letter - that cut-out slip at the end of the page)
- Take the signed posting letter and acceptance letter from your PPA to your LG
- You will use these two documents to register at your LG (This involves having a file with your documents at the LG - just like the file you had in camp with your platoon officer)
- After registration, you will do clearance.

So you need to get accepted by a PPA, get register at your LG before you can do clearance. In that particular order.

I was allotted to open an account with Access bank at the camp. Upon filling the form and my BVN Number, I think they discovered when they got to their bank that I have an existing account with them so they just came back to paste that former account number for me when they came back to camp to give everybody their account numbers..

This particular account I have not funded since when I've opened it(cos I have another account I use) which I explained to them when they came again to distribute ATM Cards at the camp and the bank representative told me that there was no problem that NYSC would fund it with my allowance, not known to me that the account has been closed since I didn't fund it for long(perhaps the banks didn't check as well to confirm whether its closed or not, they only discovered that i have an account through my BVN).

So I was asked to just go to any branch to request for an ATM card because it was not produced alongside the ones they shared in camp cos its an existing account.. When I got to the branch was when I discovered that the account has been closed.

I then mailed Access bank and they said I should open a new bank account which i did and I was given a new account number 0793875151 but it hasn't been linked to NYSC for the payment of allowance.. For this reason I've not received my allowance.. Hope I would get it even if I resolve the issue at secretariat..

No bank will ever close an inactive account. They just mark it as dormant and you'd need to fill a form to reactivate the account.

The staff you spoke to at the branch you went to knows absolutely nothing!

Na wa o . I don't know what"s wrong with Lagos state Nysc o. My state code has not changed even after submitting relocation approval and request letter.

I have complained both at the secretariat and also called the number in charge of Lagos Nysc. I hope my document was not misplaced.

Allawee I never see collect.

Anybody relocated to Lagos still waiting for the state code to change should holla abeg.

I tire for this kind Nigeria.

My state code has changed, but no PPA. I submitted a request letter too.

I'm batch c stream 2, my 21 days ultimatum on the relocation letter is 28th of this month which is tomorrow.i reported last week Thursday to secretariat. I just checked now and it has not still changed. I hope it doesn't affect my relocation? That's my fear. I can't go back to sokoto o

As long as you've already reported, you're good. The delay is all on them now. Don't worrry, you're not the only one in this situation.
