[quote author=sped1oro post=43769876]Dollar scarcity: Manufacturers turn to local raw materials….http://www.punchng.com/dollar-scarcity-manufacturers-turn-to-local-raw-materials/

INTRODUCTION

Wastes ordinarily refers to everything that no longer has a use or purpose and needs to be disposed of, however, according to The U.S Environmental Protection Agency, it defines solid waste as "any garbage or refuse, sludge from a wastewater treatment plant, water supply treatment plant, or air pollution control facility and other discarded material, including solid, liquid, semi-solid, or contained gaseous material resulting from industrial, commercial, mining, and agricultural operations, and from community activities." Based on this definition, examples of solid waste generated by veterinary clinics include, but aren't limited to: animal tissues, fluids and carcasses; animal waste; chemicals used in laboratory, cleaning or radiographic procedures; syringes and other medical supply waste; some medications, such as epinephrine and nitroglycerin; chemotherapy agents; mercury from thermometers; light bulbs and batteries; pesticides; paint and other solvents; and more. While wealth according to businessdictionary.com generally refers to General Tangible or intangible thing that makes a person, family, or group better off.

Wastes generally have been a major environmental menace in many parts of the world, majority of the wastes generated by the plastics and allied materials are non-biodegradable unlike wastes from woods, papers, water, human excretions, foods etc. Apparently, under-developed and developing economies bears the greatest burden of waste hazards, some of these countries are seen as dumping grounds for all classification of wastes such as e-waste, agricultural waste, bio-waste, industrial waste, human waste and all kinds of waste imaginable. In Nigeria today, there is hardly any state of the federation not faced with the challenge of nylon and plastic waste management.
The Lagos state government through LAWMA has taken the bold step by establishing various waste plants across the geo-political zones of the state, we have such plant at Adeniji-Adele on the Island, we have at Olusosun dump site at Oregun, and there is waste transfer plant at Igando on LASU-Isheri road, Waste loading and Transfer at Oba Ogunji road Agege and others in different locations.

Many things should be taken into consideration when starting plastic/polythene/nylon recycling business.

The most common questions are:
- Is this a thermoplastic?
- Which one?
- Is it only one kind of plastic?
- If more than one, are they compatible?
- Is this font of scraps constant and reliable?
- How much this scrap costs?
- Which is the market for the finished product?
- How much can I sell the finished product for?

Unfortunately, administrators and stakeholders at all levels of governance in Nigeria are today still confronted with the burden of Nylon and plastic wastes management, used nylon shopping bags, pure-water sachets and pet bottles from different product brands, this environmental menace is a common eye-sour on our roads, drainages, streets and work areas causing hazards in terms of pollution, flooding, impeding free flow of water channels and ultimately aiding the spread of communicable diseases via stagnated water impurities. As a result of these environmental challenges, government at all levels keeps spending huge budget on repairing and rehabilitating roads, clearing drainage channels and canals, persistent media campaign on indiscriminate dumping of nylon/bottle/sachet water wastes, yet, the hazard increases unabated.

Stakeholders are deeply worried on how to curb the monster created by this environmental wastes and the most discernible alternative is WASTE-TO-WEALTH initiatives. Going by the rising cost of raw materials used in producing plastic/polythene products, it becomes more economic viable to recycle the wastes generated from nylon/plastic materials and re-use for production again, this will not only create jobs and revenues for people in recycling industry but also reduces the menace of wastes in our environments. So many advanced economies earn reasonable foreign exchange income from recycled materials which are exported to developing and under-developed countries as raw materials.

In Nylon/plastic/polythene business, there is no waste material, every material is a raw material for another production, wastes in this business is also equivalent to money, when you generate waste in production, one does not throw the waste away, rather it is recycled for reuse or it is sold as waste to people in the recycling business. This business opportunity offers solution

This business opportunity offers solution in term of employment opportunities, income generation, waste management, poverty eradication programs and ensuring cleaner healthier environment devoid of LASSA FEVER.
According to The Chairman of BUA Group, Abdulsamad Rabiu, in a statement made available to our Punch Newspaper, “he said that in the last three years, the firm had gradually divested from business areas that were largely dependent on foreign exchange in favour of businesses whose raw materials could be sourced at least 90 per cent locally. He said, We are fully concentrating on our core business including agriculture, mining and manufacturing that are less forex-dependent.”

Consequently, the search for raw materials and substitutes that could be sourced locally because access to forex through the official route was near impossible while getting it through the black market was very expensive has become imperative. The present economic reality serves as a ginger tonic for venturing into recycling business due to availability of waste materials in abundance. I am ever ready to provide a professional advice on how to set-up this business to become a millionaire doing waste business.

Good Luck...

Investment / Re: How To Get Around The High Naira-dollar Exchange Rate (For Importers) by LiteKing(m): 11:23am On Sep 17, 2016
runningback:
The implication of a naira that now trades at over 400 to buy a dollar means that you need more naira to buy a watch today from East Asia than you needed last year, this means that prices for those goods after you import them would also rise, despite the fact that the purchasing power of the local population didn't change, this creates a recession, consumer spending falls, and it's harder to sell.

How do you get around this? Simple, sell your goods in countries with a strong currency, easiest of al the US. How? By using a fulfilment center.
Fulfilment centres are wharehouses that recieve your goods and fulfill customer orders on your behalf.
The implication is that you can be an importer selling your goods in the US right from your room. When I did this on a small scale I sent the goods straight from the factory to my fulfilment centre, I didn't even see the goods I was selling and I still made my money, but as I began to expand I had to begin inspecting the inventory myself before onward shipping to the US.

You MAY be able to get some information on Google, so you can go ahead and do your own research, that's ok, but if you want somethin you cant find on Google, contact me for my 80+ page report on how I do this.

What you would learn
- Where to find real manufacturers online, alot of Aliexpress merchants are middlemen, which means they sell at higher than factory price.
- Fulfilment centres that accept Nigerians
- If you have the money, an importers travel guide to china
- How to put your own company stamp on your goods. For example if you want to start a designer brand, you can create a logo and have it engraved on the watches you import.
- US marketplaces to sell your goods on.
- Among other things.

It does require a mid range investment, but it pays off really well, because your earnings would be in dollars, so when you convert back to naira to spend here, the weak naira actually is doing you a favor.
The price of the report is N3000.

Investment / Re: Eklipse Consults: Now You Have The Oppurtunity Obasanjo And Awolowo Had!!!!! by LiteKing(m): 11:17am On Sep 17, 2016
donpy:
Goodnews ladies and Gentlemen.
Do you know that Obasonjo had an agreement with Mtn when he was in power that for Mtn to access the then 150million Nigerians as a prospective community he wants to earn N1 on every recharge of mtn. Note that Obasanjo doesnt earn A dime when you buy an mtn sim pack, he only earns when you rechearge regardless of the conception people had that it is until you include *555*1*, with or without the *1* he still gets his commission. This form of income is called Royalty income or Passive Residual Income.
Few months ago Mtn had issues with NCC on sim registration. A statement was released that an average of between 25million - 45million nigerians recharge MTN daily.
Ladies and Gentlemen this simply means that Olusegun Obasanjo earns about N25m -N45m every 24hrs of his life for the rest of his life and he can also pass this income to his children and generation(Legacy).

In the same manner Obafemi Awolowo had an agreement also with Coca cola that even in his death for every bottle of Coke opened in Nigeria, commissions go to his family.

It is better to work harder on a business that can keep paying you even when the activity that brought about the income is long gone. Buying and selling gives active income because if you buy and you can sell then its a problem meaning you have to exchange the activity of selling for income once this activity is stopped your earnings stops also.

In 2003, I met a world class computer programmer who designed a software that would automate Jamb registration, examination process etc. I told him to sell the software to Jamb and request for N5 on every complete registration via the software and knowing the Nigerian government so well, instead of paying him they would just add N5 to the Jamb registration so that applicant would be the one paying. Implementing this with the current statistics showing that an average of 7million people write Jamb annually, this means he should be earning about N35million every year for the rest of his life. But because he listened to his friends who told him Jamb registration process cannot be changed, as it has been so will it always be. He trashed his idea and few years later he saw it happen. Right now what is obtainable is that you cant even register for Jamb exam if you dont go online. Same with Nysc registration now

Introducing Eklipse consults, a company that advocates for business oppurtunities that has the potential to provide passive residual income.

Eklipse consults says, In business, never go passionate about something that cannot earn you a fortune.
In explaining this, a consultant Mr Jimi of eklipse consults asked a question at the company launch on June 11,2016 in Enugu and he said.
"Take your mind back to about 10-15years ago when Atm machines were just been introduced to the Nigerian community. If you were given an oppurtunity to promote this machines by talking to any bank branch on why dey should av it installed and once they agree, the company delivers and install while the bank manages and run. If you where to earn just 5kobo on every cash withdrawal via that machine because you promoted it for the rest of your life would it be a good business now?
That is for every person that withdraws even if its N1000 from the atm, 5kobo comes to you for as long as that machine is working and dispensing.
Looking at the rate of disposition of atm machines now we can say it would have been a perfect passive income system.

No one is inviting to come for a seminar, business meeting, networking syndrome and all, Just drop your mail, I'll forward the pdf file to you, take your time to read through to understand how it works, ask your questions and most importantly please endeavor to leave a feedback comment here on nairaland because so many have used this model to promote illegal, money stealing schemes so many reading this even find it hard to drip their email due to experiences in the past.

A lot of people, especially me, spend over 65% of their time on social media sites such as Facebook.

Have you ever thought that you could make real money just working on Facebook?

My coursemate was asking me the other day where I would do my one year IT, I told him I cannot see myself submitting application letter to anyone. He asked me how I will make money then, trust me, I refused to give him the information using delay tactics.
Who wants to apply for a job to earn what you can earn a week working on Facebook?
Not me!
Even these days that Airtel free Facebook is available. That means no investment in buying data. Even when you don't have mb, you can still make money online.

I have packaged how you can make a living working on Facebook in an ebook.
It is a practical guide. There is no long story like history of Facebook in it.
Everything in that book is from my personal experience in working on Facebook... No story for the gods inside.

I am not giving it out for free.

PRICE: 1,000 naira.

Drop your email address, or better still PM me, if you want a copy of the guide.

Thank me later.

most people think that to invest means that you have to be accessible to millions of Naira or dollars and rarely consider investing the little one they have.i tell you that if you invest #1000 today on a proven system followed by hard/smart working and keeps reinvesting that sum over and over and over again you will not have to worry about money in couple of months.
I don't believe in ponsi schemes were you are told to invest small without any work and stand a chance to earn hug/big at the end of a particular period of time.my fellow nairalanders even life have step by step principles that guarantee our growth in life. i believe in investing in a system that shows me how my money will duplicate overtime or a system that shows me how to invest and work to earn greater reward.
I love people who are honest i their dealings, who believe in hard work, team building.if you share same ideology and you have a paypal or payza account drop your email let get started on how we can collectively turn each individual $2 invested to something great.(like $512 or higher depending on how we work hard) in few days.
