I will explain to u but start from the front page if the thread u will see the pictures.

A mudra is a spiritual gesture and energetic seal of authenticity employed in spiritual practice, it involves the entire body

Our hands work as our body’s Health Control Department. The human body is made up of five basic elements, Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space, and the five fingers of our hand represent these five basic elements, each one related to one particular element. Our health depends on the balance of these elements. By touching the hands to each other or folding the fingers in a particular way, or by pressing on some points of the hands disturbance in these five elements, so that our body becomes healthy.

There are different mudras which help cure disorders both of the mind and body. Mudras can be performed by anybody (men, women, young and old) and at any time, anywher e, without strict rules of posture or direction to be faced. Mudras are to be performed with both hands, at ease and using light pressure on the fingers. Mudras can be practised along with other treatments and they do not clash with any other kind of therapy. On the contrary, a mudra helps the diseased person to be cured quickly. Practicing a mudra will give favourable results even if you do not conceptually believe in this therapy.
#Melin I need to talk with u in private. And u should grant this. . .pls mail me. Cheers!

Now this thread has taken a rather interesting turn. When I first started the thread and I saw the first few posts I was thinking that I would be criticised by everyone on Nairaland. So i'm using this opportunity to thank everyone who've supported me so far.
@lastpage. I think i'll follow your uncle's trick. Maybe you should help me get the info I need from him regarding the procedure i.e where i'm I going to apply?, how much i'm I going to pay? And what are the things the will ask from me? Thanks.
@tpia. If you were thinking that I was intending to get a gun in this country, then you were making a mistake. Cos the gun will be purchased straight from legal dealers on the web. So get it into your thick skull that i'm not here to buy from anybody but to get info about the license
I really admire everything about ur posts. pls get in touch with me. Cheers!

I'm not at the airport ....I'm an importer too waiting for my stuff from my shippers. I was made to understand clearing in progress so hopefully no issue with clearing except that the backlogs need to be cleared first.

ok thanks

Is your shipper supposed to pick it up from Lagos or China? Or the Supplier (in China) works with the Shipper (in Lagos) to further get the goods down to you in Delta?

If yes then it means that your Supplier is shipping it down to Lagos and expects your local shipper to clear and send down to you in Delta. So contact your Supplier for the tracking details and when goods left China.

Sounds complicated undecided

Where are you based?
Where is your supplier based?
Where is your shipper based or scheduled to receive the goods?
Where is the final destination for the goods?

These are questions you need to supply answers to for anyone to assist you except you're mistaking shipper for shipper's agent

^^
My dear you have to imbibe a lot of patience. I will explain to you why-
1.There is serious congestion at the airport. Goods are strewn across the tarmac as far as the eye can see.
2. Agents are not allowed into the bulk breaking area any more. In the old system agents could go to the tarmac collate their importers cargo and forklift them into the sheds. No more of that. You have to wait for Nahcco or Sahcol staff to do it at their own pace.
3. Duty must be paid. Anything you paid on cargo before is now doubled times two. So if you were paying 100 k before expect to pay 200k.
4. Demurrage negotiations are on going between agents and the handling companies. Your agents are really battling this matter so that there is a reduction of the demurrage.
5. The Customs are on ground. They were on duty yesterday saturday and will be on duty on sunday, but they can only examine and release what is brought into the shed from the tarmac by Nahcco and Sahcol fork lifts. This is why Olanrewaju was insisting that the handlers need enough facilities and equipment to handle cargo from the tarmac to the sheds. The bitter truth is that these handlers DO NOT have enough forklifts to do the job and they have consistently refused to up grade.
Goods are being cleared but at a slow speed because of lack of enough equipment.

Hello,
You would have been informed but the fact remains that your goods have not yet been received by us from your supplier so there was nothing to tell you since we were not yet in custody of your goods.

TheMadame
This is the message my 'supposed' shipper sent me yesterday.
My items left my supplier on 13th of nov.
Now my question is this; is it possible for my items to be heading to Nigeria without my shipper knowing about it?
Though supplier recomended them to.
Thanks for ur time concerning all the updates.

This is what I'm complaining about. I have two shippers yet NONE has deemed it fit to send me and their other customers any email notification assuring us all not only about the safety of the packages but also if they've started clearing precisely.

We all prayed for this thing to be over but when you don't carry along the customers then its very bad.

To all shippers & agents here ...please and please let us your customers know what is happening. Most of us may not be around to spend the Christmas break here in Lagos so not telling us the true position of things affects our ability to plan and also it will impact on our doing business with you all in the future if you disappoint us all on our Christmas deliveries to our clients.

This is xactly what i've been complaining about. The wont update me and they wont pick my calls. I think i'll have redefine my shipping policy in my next shipment.

We are all hoping there will be news shortly. It might also be that the aforementioned contacts at the NACOH sheds are closely monitoring the situation or in meetings and as such cannot readily update us. Be rest assured there would be news before close of business today.

Thanks
