Celebrities / I Discovered Reekado Banks On Twitter - Don Jazzy by liveyourlife: 2:01am On Aug 26, 2015
In essence, what the Supreme leader of the Supreme Mavin Dynasty is saying is that Nigerian artistes must embrace Social Media or die!!

When asked in an Exclusive interview with Techcabal.com

If today, you were a mad talented but unknown musician that is yet to “blow” — knowing all the things you know now, what would you do to get noticed?

I would find a way to stand out in social media as I showcase my talent. FalzTheBahdGuy with his “Broda Taju” alter ego Instagram videos turned him into a sensation. More recently, a talented guitarist named Godwyn was posting some of his renditions on Instagram which I ended up discovering. Within 48 hrs, we had him at Mavin studio recording and releasing “Promise”. He has gone on from there to get paid performances and continues to establish himself. Mavin artist Reekado Banks was discovered via Twitter. Linda Ikeji worked hard and smart and is the biggest online personality today. You don’t need a prophet to tell you that social media is the fastest place you can get noticed today. Don’t be in a hurry to get a million fans in a day. As long as you are doing something right, your fan base will grow daily even if it’s 10 new people that you convert each day. Before you know it the right person will notice and the rest will be history.

Romance / Re: A Lady Going Out On A Date With Another Guy Few Days To Her Wedding by liveyourlife: 1:34pm On Aug 17, 2015
proxillin:
My friend’s wedding is coming up by next month. I am to be one of his men in suit.

I noticed they are quarreling recently. He opened up to me yesterday.

They are looking for a DJ to play at their reception, so his wifeToBe got a number of one DJ, added him on whatsap and they started chatting. My guy trusted the lady that she is just doing business chat with the DJ.

One day, my friend was going through her whatsapp chat with the DJ. The WifeTB told the DJ that she needs the service of the DJ for her friend’s wedding. She didn’t tell the DJ she is actually the one wedding.

The DJ started asking her out for date. She agreed to meet the DJ for a date somewhere.

My guy saw all that, yet he kept quiet and didn’t want to raise the issue with the lady as their wedding is close, before people start saying he is jealous, he is spying on his girl blahblah.

But my friend could not endure the whole thing again when the DJ started calling her repeatedly. They engage in confidential phone calls. She will be laughing…all Yes No Yes No Ok.. Ok hmmmm conversation, so that someone nearby will not understand what they are saying. At times she excuses my guy to go and pick the DJ’s call.
My guy finally confronted her, why all conversations with the DJ are not business and formal. Why is she hiding things from him?

The wifetobe went mad she alleged my guy is jealous, wrongly suspecting her.

My friend told her, he actually read their chats where they agreed to go out on a date.
That’s when she admitted that he actually asked her to meet him somewhere for a hangout.
She said she had nothing in mind for him. She is only going to meet him as friend at a restaurant. Nothing is going to happen. It’s just a harmless date.

My friend opened up to me that he regretted making decision to marry her. He told me a lot of things that he can’t cancel the wedding again. He will be part of the wedding, but after the wedding, he will start f***cking girls. He will make life difficult for her.

I told him, it’s better to remain single than to go into a hateful marriage.
Deep down in me, I can’t advise him to cancel the wedding.
I have summoned them for a meeting to discuss it and settle it. But that lady can be arrogant at times. My peace meeting may or may not be successful.

Is it normal for a lady to go out on a date with another guy just a month to her wedding?

pls, don't advise your friend wrongly. The girl is probably a nice person. what's happening is called Cold feet. its normal before the wedding date. just help her get over it. She still loves her guy dearly.

Please I want to find out if there's any know cure for migraine headache...Is it congenital?
My aunt suffers from it and I've battled with it for 2 decades now.
I have been everywhere and seen many Specialist doctors but all the drugs I get are palliative in nature.

Now you are married, you need this more importantly than ever! You might decide to ignore this but doing so might just spell your death later on.

Software/Programmer Market / Re: In Search Of Partnership by liveyourlife: 2:49am On Aug 07, 2015
iiffaanneenn:
Hi,
I am a student of Electronic Engineering and I have quite a good amount of programming experience. I have had app development as a hobby for a while and have also done quite a lot of hardware programming on a research going on at my university

I would really love to start a Software/Engineering freelancing company after my graduation. I have certain ideas, however, I don't know a lot about the situation with such companies currently and what the outlook is for the near future.

My desire is to get in contact with someone who has great ideas and knows a lot, or knows someone who knows a lot about the Nigerian market. We could easily share ideas and build a start up from that point.

I will be really pleased if I can find someone!

you sound interesting and maybe, serious. I have worked on/founded startups before that went on to get international press coverage. e.g http://techmoran.com/ceo-

I and my team have been working super hard to create lasting impression while making clients happy has been our number one priority. Alot of people have been defrauded online by scrupulous fellows claiming to be able to deliver a service or sell a product. This has obviously stamped a boldly spelled caution on the minds of potential clients and customers. I feel for them.

My brain is about to explode from thoughts. So, if you have any ideas, am all ears. Because am truly fed up. angry

This is exactly what I have been campaigning about. Trust between developers and clients is always a tricky issue. Here is how am solving it. Click here
