@Justwise. Please tell them that you are human and not spirit. Good to know that you sleep after all and hussle after all like the rest of us |
@MERRYMOM: i hear one day for radio during sharing life issues with Chaz B, one man called to say his wife is pregnant and having an affair. You go fear when you hear that. I think my wife is more sexy with her peggy |
@springtree71: Congrats. whether you are going to Elpaso or anywhere, just pray for favour. To some with the same elpaso document its so easy and to others it's tedious. |
@bloggerina. So when are you leaving? Going to Phoenix or Elpaso? |
Nita2013: I strongly agree with you on this. Sharing information is to help people and when instead of helping people it made people scared it becomes a wrong information. If you can't give details then don't share. Nobody got anything from the information except fear. God help us all |
Ogbenyalu I just read you now about your safe entry. Congrats and safe delivery. Hope the BA stop over wasn't long oooo. My wife will be 34wks and she's traveling 20th Sept. I pray those overzealous BA will be silent. Hope they weren't using that to scare you and extort some money from you sha |
Please where is Ogbenyalu on this forum. It's been long since I read anything |
@dinawe.....are you at base now? |
This confusion about luggage and POE. last year i was in phoenix using united, i had to pick my luggage at Houston and then checked them in for Phoenix united airline. But when i was coming back from Phoenix to lagos, my luggage was checked in at Phoenix to Lagos. so i didn't see my luggage until i got to Lagos. At times i will ask myself, what if my luggage no reach lagos. i had to ask the airline staff, and my mind was at peace. If you are in doubt, please ask questions, there are airline staffs you can always ask and they will be willing to assist |
@bloggerina. Thanks for this wonderful expo for people on the BA flight. I will tell my wife about it so that she can pack very well. |
@Soso15: You are on point on your POE explanation. My wife us using BA to Elpaso. She stops over in Heathrow and POE is Dallas. |
@freshface. Get a flight first to NY and then Phoenix. There will be a connecting flight as no direct flight to phoenix |
@aykanbi. I will counsel that you focus on the main goal of travelling to US to have a baby. You can travel to other places if you want your passport to be stamped, and then get ready for the US visa to give birth. |
@pattyreal: Now you know the kind of friends you have. My wife was given visa in July and then she was 5months gone. She was proud to show the VO her pregnancy, and she got her visa and will be off to elpaso this month. Please don't lie on the baby. If you are going to give birth, tell them. Just be truthful, and think that is the watchword on this platform Gather all your documents and pray for favour. |
@brooklyn20. It could be painful. You can still reapply. It's what they think first before they ask for documents. So its important to be composed and confident, any slip will give a wrong impression. I have seen a situation in 2013 when three of us went for the visa, they granted 2 of us but the third person was rejected. Reason: He looked ruffled when asked questions |
@brooklyn20. True. Can you apply alone with your hubby as the sponsor. I guessed the VO just felt both of you travelling for childbirth and tourism and staying in a hotel........ she didn't think you guys are up to it. They just read through us and interpret |
@major 1P, will be leaving 20th September. But i already have the flight ticket with me. I will also have some medical test reports that was done in Nigeria as evidence. |
@major 1p. We used A FIT TO FLY LETTER from my wife's doctor when we were to pay for our BA ticket |
@Oballer: ask Dr. Fagbohun about accommodation. I had initially planned to use him bfore we changed to elpaso but in a mail he sent to us when we informed him he asked that if we need accommodation he can help us out. So send a mail to him about accommodation. I trust he would revert to u, then you can do competitive review with others |
@egariyi.....Up you... God must somehow arrange situations to favour his children. Congrats ooooo..... I am counting down for my wife who will leave by 20th September to elpaso..... I don dey imagine how i go take sleep for that bed alone....once she born, the next day i am on way to US by God's grace. Congrats to us all. God is on the throne, and he watches over us! |
@ella77. Thank you very much. Well appreciated. |
@ella77. My wife wants to hook up with you as she will be in elpaso on 21st @ his grace lodge. How can we communicate with you |
@ella77. Please what we're the foodstuffs so that my wife doesn't go and carry what is not allowed |
@ella77. Congrats for safe entry. |
Please people do you need to get a notary at the US embassy in nigeria when you will be in the US two days after your wife puts to bed?? |
@damsel020. Congrats. God will make all things beautiful for us from visa to entry to delivery and to return to celebrate with our families. God will simplify issues for us in Jesus name |
@nita2013. True. She was lodged. I guess she didn't read the instructions very well. But it's a long journey for any biggies. |
I don't believe Emirates time computations. My friend 2weeks ago travelled to US through emirate. She spent a full day at dubai before leaving. So its not safe for any pregnant woman |
@Teamclicksair. I didn't want the UAE airline because of some past experiences about their stopovers in UAE. |
That was the cheapest and I also wanted to avoid Houston and Atlanta. |
@hopefulme. My wife is boarding BA on 20th sept at 23.00 arrive London at 5.25am on 21st September. Leave London by 9.30am arrive dallas at 13.35. Depart Dallas 16.20 and arrive Elpaso at 17.00 on 21st Sept. |
@ella77. Book same route BA ticket for my wife in July 2014. It was N365K. She will be leaving 20th September |
