monikulapo: Hmmm .. is the target market within Nigeria ? I do understand, however unless it's a hobby project I don't see a market or clear path to monetization within Nigeria .. and I don't see any reason why a foreign company would pick this over Git/other less technical products ? However, if it interests you I have an SME mass message tool that i'm trying to bundle with other tools that can be targeted at SME's that are tech inclined and are already using SM in some way. I can see a clear path to monetization if it can be repurposed to fit the needs of an SME ? What do you think ? Also just built this to show my fullstack dev capabilities and to put it on my CV but then I'm seeing opportunities to market and see what can come out of it via SMM. |

The target market is global and not restricted to any particular local markets within any country. As I said, our target market are technical people maintaining websites. I haven't started proper marketing yet but I wouldn't want sms marketing just doesn't appeal to the type of product I'm building and people I'm looking for. Thanks for the offer though. |

monikulapo: Hello,
Good job so far. I know this is semantics .. but why do you call it a feedback and analysis as opposed to a reviews website ? This relates to your current integrations and how you plan on monetizing the tool since you already have that section on the landing page. Nice touch with having some demo screenshots, perhaps you could show more of the app on a section of the landing page. A lot of people hide their apps behind a registration screen. This inflates initial sign up metrics at the expense of convincing actual eventual users of the tool. Finally, who are your target audience ?. I can see SM vendors using something like this to prove their authenticity. Thanks for the feedback... Target audience is website owners or webmasters who want feedback about their webpages. I call it a feedback tool because the tool is meant for collecting feedback data per page as opposed to general review of the whole site. I hope you understand. Let me know if you have further questions. |

You never know who is reading this and looking to hire.
We can also share ideas and have a discussion where we share the same stack.
I'd go first.
Jam-stack using Nuxt 3 for frontend, and KratosJS (expressjs wrapper I built for deploying REST API server).
MongoDB for database. Mongoose for database driver. Brevo for transactional emails. Vercel, Render and AWS for hosting. |

Karleb: Bro, just employ testers.
20 more characters needed I'm bootstrapping, I don't yet have a budget for testers... I'm still thinking of getting a frontend dev and marketing specialist to join the team. |

csharpjava: This association will need people with academic qualifications in Software Engineering or Computer Science with some commercial experience, in order to gain achievements that will make it relevant enough for the government to take notice of us. This is a limited way of thinking... You should open your mind to new possibilities instead. People don't really care about vanity stuff like degree... They only care about results. Unless you're trying to sell promises, then degree and referrals might do the trick. Otherwise your goal should be to have a good portfolio first and then use that to secure clients. |

csharpjava: These real programmers you talk about have had lecturers teaching them programming at home when they were still kids. I can confirm that. I've been coding since way back as JS1 (and winning awards for it)... Initially in class then eventually through YouTube. However, anyone can learn programming these days (on YouTube) and be really good at it. |

femmix112: Even while fetching data externally you still need Ajax a lot for real time update programming You both don't seem to be aware you're talking about the same thing here. Under the hood, fetch uses Ajax. Just a nicer syntax to make requests. |
Programming › Re: Ever Heard Of Ajax Programming And Development? by lk4real(m): 6:01pm On Jan 23, 2024 |
clevadani: Nice tutorials. I would advise newbies to learn Ajax. But don't get fixated on stuff like Ajax. Instead they should focus on learning technologies like reactjs, angular and view. This would set them up for the future. What's "view"? 🤡 |
