Chelsea or Liverpool, possibly Liverpool, has that 4th position slot waiting for them.

Yes you did win but you had your heart in your mouth,

Man Utd was looking so IMMORTAL during their winning streak, It was like other teams played to loose with a minimal goal difference. I mean I was scared it was becoming INDIA vs NIGERIA, but still on still Man Utd loss due to fatigue - Arsene Wenger and Wayne Rooney's boasting like Pepe.

can see you wrote this story for our match against Inter Milan so unfortunate you couldn't paste it then. When you say Quintiple is not possible what club are you talking about? UNITED is very much in the title race. Life is full of ups and downs but definately, we will get there grin

I'm not complaining because last 2weeks or so. It was Middlesborough 2 - 0 Liverpool. Arsenal case pathetic. You think is by breaking bridges or spoiling records, when small teams are still laying ambush for you. Everybody loves liverpool but liverpool only loves to play champions league every season ie they play for champions league slots. 7points clear how are they in the title race? My only problem now is all this for 3rd position? huh

you don't understand like in a football match if I press select it pauses or sometimes when I press it(start) repeatedly it pauses. Even during a game it pauses and plays on its own

I just hope M. City would come up with an early goal because If they intend to play a draw, they should be aware that the late goal scorer Didier Drogba is in form.

oh Boy this is a difficult one with GuuS - all victory - there is more chances of Chelsea taking this one,  but grin the last time they met ROBINHO almost made Chelsea regret not buying him. Now M. City are a little bit stronger than before with the current signings.

Given vs Cech.

Manchester United v. Liverpool (Old Trafford, March 14th, 8:40 a.m. ET, Setanta Sports)

When you looked at this match, say a month-and-a-half ago, it was way more intriguing. Liverpool were right up there with United and were a serious threat to take the title to Anfield. Following United’s unprecedented form and the numerous slip ups by the Reds, Liverpool is nothing more than a moderate threat.

With a win in this clash, however, things could change. But as I have eluded to previously, it may be a lot to ask, not because Liverpool don’t have the talent or the big-game ability, it’s just that Manchester United are simply too good.

At Old Trafford, United are undefeated, having won 12 matches and drawn one. 25 of their plus-36 goal differential is owed to the Theater of Dreams. I won’t say it’s impossible, because nothing is impossible. People actually read what I write, for example. Tell me that three years ago, I’d have laughed in your face.

Can they win? Sure, but they’ll have to play an almost flawless game. Will it realistically happen? I don’t think so.

TFE Prediction: I like ManU in this one. They are doing all the right things at the moment and the depth of their squad is stunning. 2-1 to the Red Devils.
grin cheesy smiley wink                cool

Jose Mourinho Alleged To Have Punched A Fan

Police are investigating claims that Internazionale manager Jose Mourinho punched a fan after his club lost to Manchester United late last night.
Mar 12, 2009 6:42:49 AM

Internazionale manager Jose Mourinho is to be quizzed by Greater Manchester police following reported claims that he assaulted a fan after his side crashed out of the Champions League round of 16 clash by a 2-0 scoreline against reigning European champions Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Mourinho is believed to have punched a supporter close to the Inter team bus. Police have contacted Manchester United to request CCTV footage of the area, and a police spokesperson was quoted by Sky Sports as saying, "Shortly before midnight last night a man reported that he had been punched in the face outside Old Trafford.

"We are investigating an allegation of common assault," the statement concluded.

There is yet to be an official comment from either Internazionale, or Manchester United.

United though are believed to be aware of the incident.

If the charismatic Portuguese manager is questioned by British police, it will not be the first time. While boss of Chelsea, in 2007, Mourinho was said to have been arrested and cautioned after refusing to allow police to put his pet dog - Gullit - into quarantine.

The reigning Italian champions Inter were no match for the reigning English, Champions League and World champions Manchester Mourinho: All Italians Will Be Pleased With Inter’s Elimination
The outspoken Portuguese tactician believes that the entire Italian peninsula will be pleased that his side are out of the Champions League.
Mar 11, 2009 6:04:39 PM

United, at Old Trafford last night.

The Nerazzurri needed to attain a result in order to progress further in the competition, however they failed in their quest, as United ran out victors by a 2-0 score line.

Inter’s elimination from the competition is something that the coach Jose Mourinho believes will please all Italians, whilst he also feels that all is not lost despite their exit.

“All of Italy will be happy because we were eliminated. But I do not care,” Mourinho declared in an interview with Rai following the match.

“I am not angry, only sad. We did not have the luck you need to win these big matches, so I am sorry that we don’t have the chance to win this cup any longer.“In any case, there is still the Scudetto, which is something we surely must win now.

Mourinho’s men currently lead their nearest rivals Juventus by a comfortable seven points with eleven rounds remaining, meaning that a fourth consecutive Scudetto is well and truly on the cards.

MAN UTD cant loose to a club like INTER MILAN  they may have a good coach but so did other 4clubs that lost yesterday the truth remains MOURIHNO will have a surprise package on the pitch today, MAN UTD have good coaches, good players and expecially good FANS imagine him{MOURIHNO} buying FERGIE red wine after the match at SAN SIRO when he refused to shakehands with because his travels to premiership matches was totally in vain,  MOURIHNO Nemanja Vidic is back,  You all are in trouble bLOOSERs & ARSEes get off this thread.
