I think the major difference lies in the space.
X3 is a compact SUV while the X5 (I think) is mid-size or large SUV.

I’d pick the X5. Although, I learnt that the X5 for that year had engine over heating issues, stuck windows and failed fuel pumps.
I’d pick the recent model or for the sake of beauty, I’d take the X3.

And if I may also trouble you further, is there any major difference between the x3 and the x5, in terms of the components - engine, transmission, mpg, etc?

As far as I know, parts for those older X5s are quite cheap. Pretty reliable cars from what I've heard.

The BMW X5 is a full size SUV with a 3.0L V6 and a 4.4L V8

The Edge is a CUV with a 2.0L i4 turbo engine and a 3.5L V6

For the year 03 X5 vs 07 Edge I believe I will pick a more recent model year which is quite popular on road than the X5

There are two types of Masters programmes in the University of Ibadan: Professional Masters, and Academic Masters programme.

You may or CANNOT later run a PhD Programme (especially in the UI) with a "PROFESSIONAL Masters" degree. The Professional Masters is mainly for those already WORKING in an organization and needed "extra-skills and knowledge" to improve efficiency and productivity in their workplaces. They do NOT write Project in their final year/session, NEITHER can they (really) lecture with the Professional Masters degree (except as consultants in rare occasions). That is one reason their forms and school fees are more EXPENSIVE than that of the Academic Masters because it is not too rigorous but geared more towards enhancing working experience.

As for the "ACADEMIC Masters," that is what, I believe, most of us here intend applying for. It is more rigorous: students will write Project/Disertation in their final year, and they can proceed to lecture and/or run a PhD with the Masters degree if they meet the required "PhD grade" by the University of Ibadan.

The amount for Professional Masters programme is AT LEAST N21,000 (twenty one thousand naira).
