Hello, she can apply for visa in South Africa if the husband has a valid permit. She can apply for accompany spouse permit provided her husband have not married someone else here in SA. Nevertheless she can go back to Nigeria to apply if she wishes. I applied for my wife here in SA.

Again please house a friend is currently in south africa with her husband the husband has work permit 5 years which he got in south africa he is doing personal business buying of accident car repairing and reselling it..now the wife is in SA on visit visa and she is willing to stay with the hubby in which she was told no more getting a permit in SA again that she should go and do her permit from Nigeria please what is her hope if she goes back home?secondly if she go for the permit in lagos how many weeks will it take her because she really want to do xmas with her hubby in SA and lastly if she get to the embassy in Nigeria can she get help to help her quicken the process because I learnt south Africa permit is difficult now

My wife also is going for MSC in d same school with me with d kids but we were told to secure our visas separately first b4 applying for the kids through their mother.But what of d section in the form that requires one to fill dependant?In short, I don't know how we wil go about d kids in terms of where to apply(bcs I learnt their own application venue is different),d amount and all other sundry issues. Hi, You can submit you application with your kids together with yours, the only thing is that you have to write their name on accompany part on the form, any relevant documents pertaining to your kids such as passport data page, there is no need to secure school for them from my own experience. I have a brother that submit his application together with his kid together. It will safe you a lots of stress, time and cost. To be sincere with you for coming to do PHD, they will not scrutinise your documents much. It is very rare to refuse a PHD applicant all over the world. Your wife may apply separately or even together if you have a good statement of acct.

Am sorry for getting across to you late. i check here once in a while. It is just motivation to support you application, such you have so so yrs of experience, you have worked for so so company b4, you have a certification and etc. all docs u have is good.

Thanks for the reply, what will be the content of the supporting letter, the skill is not tht much, is listed on the gezzate for the critical skills under ICT. The company is ready to give copy of pty certificate slabs SARS certificate. And I also have proof of resident of my apartment in centurion.

Hello, The post graduate programmes are not free. When you have resumed for the programme you can now apply for scholarship or grant *IF THERE IS ANY*. Being that you are international students they are few, neverthe less if you are doing research master or PHD you can apply for limited scholarships is not gurantee but alos depend on your supervisor. The only adavntage is that the tuition fees is cheaper to european universities, canada and usa with good quality education standard.

tTo give you a kindeed advise he can admission from nigeria than coming here because you have to go back to change it. Secondly you cannot get any job at all. is better you bring your money. truth is bitter.

Hello, firstly. I will advise you that you need to tell the company to make adertisement in newspaper or a supporting letter and also all other neccessary letters or documents. I am in South africa and i know how tough to get a job. please maximize the opportunity. I am also working here. am engineer too in a manufacturing company.ready to help

I have an appointment letter from a company in South Africa, I would like to know if I should submit it along with the documents to the embassy, The job was not advertise, i was contacted via email about the job, because I have work with the company before.

I work for the company in SA in 2014.

Filling the embassy for is my concern, where its requires if the job was advertised or newly created. That is the part to be filled by the employer.

hello my brother, Dont mind them. You can apply to University of Johannesburg. I went through the same thing. I am in south africa now. But Please y did u chose South Africa? is not a right place for now and i will advise you to go to Canada than SA. there is Xenophobia in everything now.

I am a graduate of Electrical/Electronic Engineering. I recently had my Certificates evaluated by SAQA and got an NQF Level 8. I graduated with a Second Class Upper degree, a good one at that.
I tried applying for a Masters by Research degree at the University of Pretoria,to my utmost surprise I was asked by the Admissions officer of the department of Electrical Engrg, UP to enrol for their Honours program and that I wasn't qualified to be admitted for Masters directly.
I was so surprised and furious, and sent her a mail telling her of my grades and SAQA evaluation but she reaffirmed that UP can only admit me for Honours.

It's really annoying! I can't imagine myself enrolling for a South African Honours degree after spending 5 solid years to get my Bachelor of Engineering degree in Nigeria.


Please guys I need suggestions on reputable schools in SA where I can do a Research Masters degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
