WebmastersRe: 10 Things You Must Know And Have Before Creating A Blog by logadims: 4:48pm On Feb 06, 2016
Mediapace:
Have you ever been wanting to be a blogger,These are the things you need to know to be a successful blogger without stress:

1.You need social media accounts :
At least, you need an account for facebook and twitter if you did not have the other ones, you can easily share your topics to earn you much traffic and people around the world can also gain interest in your website
if you give them nice hyperlinks

2.You must be a very good writter :
Your writting skills must be adorable to be a blogger,If you don't know how to write good contents with correct english,i will encourage you to go and learn it or maybe your problem is that you hate writting,i will encourage you to gain some interest because Copy and paste don't work much again unlike before

3.You must have at least a personal email account and most preferably Google mail : An email account is one of the most essential tools to have and why google is most preferable is that you may need a blogger account, you may need google adsense in future, youtube e.t.c.
You users may also want to contact you through electronic mail

4.You must learn to always stay active and online :
You have to be online days and night if you are willing to be a blogger especially those in the aspect of entertainment & celebrities gists, any celeb can buy a new car or house at anytime lols

5.You need money :
If you had ever been told that blogging is free, false. YOU NEED MONEY!
These are Examples of things you need money for:

* Pay admins
*Buy New themes
*buy domain name
*host your website and lot more

6.You need to learn little on php,css e.t.c. codes :
If you employ a designer for your blog and you think you are free to go,you are absolutely wrong!
The person you employ may even sell your blog to another person without even knowing,if you don't know about php,you may not even be able to suggest new features for your blog

7.Be ready to take insults most time :
Don't think your viewers will credit your actions all day, most of the time you will be insulted and replying them with abusive words will not help, learn to be patient and tolerant

8.Learn to praise what other members work :
your may want your blog to have forum characters like guest posting,if so you must praise them for sparing their time creating topics for you with joyous words like you are the most helpful, keep it up,we apppreciate your efforts e.t.c.

9.Read about the history of the engine you want to use :
There are some blog creating engines that are not reputable and reliable,if you work with them, they may just chop your money and in a matter of days their website will be offline, try finding out the history advantages & disadvantages of the engine

webmasters add the remaining.

BinggoFurLife:
a quick one...
has the group/ association been formally instituted?
names like PH Breeders Club, PH Kennel Club, PH Dog Lovers Club will do just fine...
what about getting the club registered?
principal officers...
getting the association/club a registered trademark/logo etc
this will pave way for our involvement as we can only relate with a group not individuals.
So PH let's make this happen!! For more info contact details in the signature.
so, how do we contact you?

EducationRe: 7 Documents To Have Before Applying For Undergraduate Scholarships by logadims: 10:59am On Jan 06, 2016
Lautechgossip:
There are basically 7 documents you must have before applying for undergraduate scholarships.

The quest to screen and identify scholarship applicants give rise to the following 7 documents required for scholarship application and aptitude tests.

7 Documents required for Undergraduate Scholarships

1. Passport: Most often the company in-charge of screening scholarship applicants give size, color and age of the passport required for the scholarships application.

For example, Scholastica requires a white – background passport not more than 3 months old and of size 450 X 450.

2. Admission Letter: If you must win an undergraduate scholarship, you must show an evidence that you have been admitted into the institution and course of study you claim.

The Admission letter can either be from JAMB or from your school. Although sometimes, some scholarships specify the actual admission letter they require.

3. O’level Result: Virtually all scholarships demand O’level result for their application. The O’level results include WASSCE, GCE, NECO and NABTEB.

Although all these belong to O’level, some scholarship schemes demand that the O’level result must be WASSCE or any of the above mentioned in one sitting.

Scholarships like Mobil demand 5 A1 while Federal Government Bilateral Scholarship demand 5 Distinctions in relevant courses including English and Mathematics.

4. JAMB Result: Obviously any one who gained admission into the university must have gone through the scrutiny of Jamb Admission and Matriculation board scoring at least 180 and above. Many Nigerian scholarships schemes ask for JAMB result for application. Some scholarship demand JAMB score of 60% and above of JAMB total score.

But we advise students to enroll for any scholarship they are eligible for so long as such student passed JAMB and meet all other requirements.

5. Local Government of Origin Identification: Almost all undergraduate scholarships request the Certificate of Local Government of Origin from the applicants. This is very important when it comes to scholarships that are location based for example, Area of Operation scholarship award for some oil companies.

Since such scholarship favours students from the operational area, students from non oil producing students look for ways to claim they are from the operational area and to tackle this, the Local government of origin identification is a requirement .

6. School ID Card School ID is one credential almost all the undergraduate scholarships require from students but unfortunately, most schools don’t issue the school ID on time and as a result, many students are denied the opportunity of applying for these scholarships.

We advise the students to use any other document that will identify them as students of the school they claim to belong, for example, In Federal University of Technology Owerri, (FUTO) where we have a branch at EXCEL’s PLACE FUTO, students in level 100 use their confirmation of admission gotten from the Registrar to serve as their school ID for scholarship application until the school issues the official school ID.

With this the students will not miss the opportunity which is even more open to first and second year students.

7. Birth Certificate It is no lie that any application you do online or registrations will always have a field with “Date of Birth”. And to affirm that the date of birth you have actually filled is is true, the scholarship schemes demand that applicants submit their birth certificates. And where birth certificate is not available, age declaration can also be used.
Sometimes, baptismal certificates can also serve.

It is important to note that many other scholarships may ask for all of this and more while some may only demand for just some of the above mentioned documents.

We are certain that with above information, you will be ready for any scholarship application that will come up any moment from now.

Hello Guys! Lets share our exprience in our respective companies, the challanges we face, the good tidings of each companies and compare it with each. The main reasons i'm doing this here, is because i got loads of mail from Nairalanders, asking me to give them crew about all this companies concerning the post i made some time ago.

Here we go. I have worked in the following companies they have their good and their bad. (1) MOBIL (PH): here i jst worked as a contract staff so no much benefit or packages for me as being a contract staff.

(2) AgipsadBrass Island Bayelsa) I Worked as HSE Adviser here, left them many years back due to they don't pay their staff on time.

(3) NLNG, (Bonny Island R/State) one of the best. If not the best everybody would wish to work with, I worked as SAP Team member here, they have good tidings and good packages for their staff (not contractors staff) one of the good thing i like about them is, they allow their staff to make use of their hilux outside the company site unlike other coys,, to go with it and flex as much as u can without much limitations, they pay their staff every last friday of every month,

They often host party for their staff/ the host community last saturday of every month.

(4)SPDC (Bonny Island) Currently working here as Network/System Admin . Though they are good, but not like Shell we use to know before, since most directors now are naija made lol, and they more into contracting jobs unlike before, things has really changed. though they still pay well but not as it used to be , but their policy is not easy to maintain. The only advantage of working with them is their (Electronic ID) Which permits/gives u access to all the shell terminal nation wide and beyond, and it gives u access to eat in any of their (SPDC Canteen) and their ID enables you to have access to their internet service when you slot it in their customize keyboard. You wil as well enjoy what they call (HAPPY HOUR) is a party that comes up every last friday of the month.

You can sign in about (5) of ur friends using ur ID card, they will be offered free drinks and foods all night in the party. Top naija artists use to performing live during the party.

Omo come see chicks begging you to sign them in, u just dey form like...eh." but you don't dare go out with any Spdc hilux out of the terminal except on official duty, but i guess is due to the IVMS which monitors your speed limits, that might affect the audit during the monthly vehicles inspection audit.

Feel free to shares urs let's have fun of it ( sorry i'm typing through my phone so the text might lack formatting and lots of typooooo.
keep it rolling
sir i'll like to get advice/coaching from you! I dumped marine engineering for soil science based on yhe belief "that offshore workers die quick, easily posessed by demons..............etc

The conference held last week in UST. Started Monday and ended Friday. But my meeting with the bingoo dog food guy was on Thursday and it was my first contact with the guy. So it was unofficial. But for this dog walk to proceed we will need to agree on a workable modality, in colaboration with the bingoo guys. I need your inputes.

PH BREEDERS!!! Greetings. I was in UST last week, where the national convention/conference of veterinary doctors. I visited one of the days (Thursday actually) I met with the makers of bingo dog foods, I asked them when they would do a dog walk and if they even had it in mind, their reply was: we have a dog walk in mind for ph, but we need to meet with breeders and dog owners first so that planning can start from there.

So I'm throwing this open to those of us here. What is your take and how can we make this possible?

I think now is the time for a whatsapp group.
