Hello my people. I called UKVI and they said a decision was made on my application on the 4th, even said my document has been sent (or is on its way) to Nigeria, but no decision mail. My last date for enrollment is Friday June 8th. Is it advisable i go to TSL ikeja without receiving the decision mail??

They usually say something like " You should not attend the Visa application centre until you are advised to do so" on their emails

My application is 30 working days old (priority oh)

Thank you, pls what's the name of your uni? And could you tell me what your case was and how the int'l office helped. I'm asking because my uni's (BCU) int'l office hasn't been helpful, if I can mail them and let them know what type of service other universities are offering their int'l student, that may help. I've already requested that UKVI escalate the case.

That's quite bad. But really, the school can only be helpful in terms of enquires from the UKVI, although they get better info. You just have to be patient. Hope you're still within enrollment period. It seems UKVI has some system issues. I got some email indirectly referring to this.

If ur in a hurry(last date of enrollment is close) you can give them another call, but after some days after your escalation. You can also instruct your school to find out about your application directly from UKVI. My school was very helpful on this.

My application is 22 working days with the UKVI today. I did biometrics on 24 of April and it was transferred to ukvi on the 25th of April. I did the so called priority. Does this ever happen?? Because it just feels weird and annoying that an application would be kept for so long with no correspondence.

I made email enquiry on the wed 23 may, and they are saying application is been considered. I got another mail this morning saying an escalation has been done and i should expect a response within 15 working days. My program started may 19 and last day for enrollment is June 8. Hmmm

please your opinion/advise will be appreciated

Hello house pls help out I my wife and child did our biometric on the 26th of April I applies for tier 4 pbs visa and on the 2 of may I received an email stating that our online application is been prepared for consideration by an entry clearance officer and today is the 15 working day no news regarding our application please what should I so. You are not alone. I submitted on the 24th april and the application got transferred on the 25th.
I will advice you to
* Be patient
* Keep your phone ( the nos you submitted on your application) with you always even weekends. I got a call from UKVI this when i was least expecting.

I think priority is the new standard application now..not as quick as i thought when it was introduced.

Is this normal/common? The wait is not easy at all and my start date next week ....

Don’t know much about oxford Brookes.

Coventry is lovely, it has a great number of Nigerian students which has its pros (you network with fellow Nigerians and hear survival tips) and cons (you can easily be led astray). It has a number of student jobs too, and the school is situated around the city centre.

My preference will be Portsmouth. Lovely lovely place! Moderate Nigerian population that seem to be responsible. Not as much student jobs in Portsmouth itself (compared to Coventry) but you can find lots in Southampton.

Study wise, I think both are great. But I would lean towards Portsmouth more. Hope this helps.

Please i trying to make a decision on which Uni to choose, i have offers in University of portsmouth, Coventry Uni and Oxford brookes Uni all for Msc finance. Oxford brookes comes across like a small expensive city with few part time Job offers. I a tilting towards portsmouth ...and i dont know much about coventry. Please anyone who has been to any of these schools or knows about it should please advise. Thanks
