The 1k covers transport fare,feeding and other daily miscellaneous like detergents,sachet water etc. It's very obvious that the money cannot cater for her needs. Hence,the call for more money.

It won't go any long way. Go and report to your local govt and see what it offers. No b everything requires online validation. Some secretariat are busier than others while some are just to go make an appearance and face other hustles.

Benue pays 15k to Corp members

PPA'S are in safe areas( communities with clashes are excluded from having Corp members)

Rent is ok

Transport is ok

Benue state doesn't pay corp members. The new governor only promised to start paying non-medical corp members 15k,and medical corp members 100k. We have not started receiving the money though.

Rent and transport fares depends on locality/community one is posted to.

I've been posted to a local government Secretariat as my primary place of assignment. Is there anyone here who once served in such a place? What was the experience like?

As for the security, the state is peaceful but some places are not not, avoid Ukum, Logo, and Katsina Ala for now due to the attacks by Gana boys.

Yes,it is peaceful so far. The governor gas not started paying the 15k oo. But we are still hopeful.

Yes,I enjoyed my stay in camp. Although the first week was stressful. My PPA is a local government Secretariat.

How's the camp like? What about the weather, people, and cost of living?

*Are there LGAs I need to avoid(as regards safety and PPA posting)?

*Does the state government pay corps members serving in the state?
