Franknetter, there's a lot of misconceptions about Africa. Most of the time, i'm always irritated by the ignorance of some people but with time, i got used to it.

I've seen people who thinks africa is a country, people who think all African live in the desert with a dung hut. I have a Cameroonian male friend who told me about someone asking him if he has wild animals like tiger or gorilla as pet before coming to the states.

I think the media has been a real disaster when it comes to Africa bevause they only show the deserts, people starving and animals everywhere. I have a friend who think Africa looks just exactly as what was shown in French Montana's Unforgettable video. It's just too funny

Even actors get paid than doctors, engineers and teachers. When other countries will tell you doctors and engineers contribute more than athletes and actors to the society, here in usa, 70% of people wont agree with that.

But i feel the reason is that athletes receive their pays based on the amount of people their services are sold to. A dollar each from a million people will make you rich. Doctors and engineers are not paid as much as them because of the same reason.

People hav enough disposable income that allows them to spend a considerable amount of money on entertainment which makes entertainers such as sportmen, musicians, and film stars rich. No one will buy a 50 dollar ticket to watch an engineer or a doctor work.

I can vividly remember the preseason game btw 76ers and Lakers. People were exicted to see Brandon Ingram and Simmons play against each other but D'Angelo ended up being the guy most people enjoyed.

For this Philly team to really become a playoffs team. Embiid must be healthy, i know how unhealthy he was this past season, i never enjoyed him in my fantasy league game. Simmons must not be a Brandon ingram type of player also. The team might make the playoffs but i have the feeling that they will get knocked out in the first round.
