Education / JAMB 2018 - How To Register For JAMB (step By Step) by loobby(m): 10:42am On Dec 19, 2017 |
JAMB 2017 registration has started and will end on the 6th of February, 2018. This post is for candidates that have not yet apply or are finding it hard to understand how to register for JAMB 2018. Below are the steps you need to follow in order to register for JAMB 2018. STEP 1- The first thing you will do, is to create a confirmation code with your phone, by sending your "Surname Firstname Othername" to 55019. They will charge you #50 for the SMS. After you've done that, you will receive a confirmation code from JAMB. STEP 2- Then, you will go to the bank (UBA , Firstbank, Union bank etc) to purchase the JAMB E-pin. . When you get to the bank, ask for instruction from any of the bank staffs you see. You will be asked to provide the confirmation code which JAMB sent to your phone, they will need it in order to generate your E-pin. STEP 3- Now that you have purchased the JAMB E-pin, you can now go to any JAMB CBT registered centre you know. You will be asked to provide your o'level result, JAMB E-pin, your confirmation code, and your passport ( they might use the laptop to snap you). STEP 4- After you have successfully registered for the JAMB 2018, you will be given a print out of the JAMB registration and also the compulsory storybook. You should also note that everything will cost you #6200 only. The breakdown- JAMB E-pin + storybook =#5000 + #500 ( to be paid together in the bank) CBT registration fee= #700 (to be paid after you have successfully registered for JAMB 2018) You should also know that the phone number you will use for recieving the confirmation code must not have been used previous;y for that purpose. Goodluck! |

Education / Mistakes To Avoid In This Year's Admission by loobby(m): 12:50pm On Dec 18, 2017 |
Based on my research on last year's admission process, I discovered some mistakes that cost some students their admission, that's the main reason i came up with this post. You want a success in your admission processes this year? Then take your time to view this blog often as it contains admission tipz that you will surely find useful and helpful. Back to the main purpose of this post, the mistakes I noticed are explained below; 1. Wrong Subject Combination: This mistake is common among JAMB candidates. When applying for JAMB, you should always use JAMB brochure in order to know your subject combination. Wrong subject combination will cost you your admission into your course. Once again, Make sure you make use of brochure before computing your subject combination. 2. Wrong O'level grade: Am I going to call this a mistake or a way of outsmarting JAMB and the University? Anyways, some candidates make such mistake. Make sure you are careful when computing your grades, because it can cost you a whole year. 3. Not being informed: This is another issue that is bothering me. As a student seeking for admission, you ought to be glued to educational site like this blog ( for admission tipz) or myschool.ng (for JAMB and University update). I heard of a case about a candidate that choose IbadanPoly last year, but didn't participated in the screening because he was not aware that the screening form was on sale. Make sure you are always up to date with JAMB news and the University/Polytechnics you choose. 4. Wrong spelling of name: Although, this can be corrected but why waste money when you can carefully compute your correct name on your JAMB form. Also, not only wrong spelling but the order at which your name is arranged, it should be in this format- Surname Firstname Othername. 5. Inconsistent age in your document: Age is very important during admission processing, it can cost you your admission. If there are inconsistent age in your document, then your admission into a university might be terminated. For example, on your WAEC certificate, you are 16 years old while on your JAMB form, your are 18 years old, this give the school every reason to terminate your admission into the university. All parties including the Ovation Magazine Boss got involved in a heated argument at the airport which led to him getting disrespected by Davido and even in a song. Webmasters / How To Display Adsense Ads On Disabled Sites by loobby(m): 11:15am On Dec 06, 2017 |
These days Adsense is at its peak for banning users with minor mistakes, It is very common to get your site disabled by Adsense, sometimes it’s temporary while other times it’s permanent. It’s easy to lift temporary ad serving ban by resolving all the issues explained in AdSense account, while permanent ad-serving ban sucks. We all have some important websites and domain we don’t want to lose, permanent ban mostly occurs when one of your sites is violating AdSense policies beyond their bearable limit, in that case they ban your Adsense account, take all the money and disable ad serving on all of your sites, when this happens webmasters are left with nothing, years of their hard work become useless. One of my friends also got the same issue, ad serving was disabled on his primary site just because he used a sticky ad in the sidebar. We searched solution to this problem and got some hacks to fix both temporary and permanent bans. Solution for Temporary ban If ad serving disabled on only one of your site and you have got notification message inside Adsense account then you are quite lucky, you can quickly gain access of ad serving by resolving all the issues they have mentioned in the message. Once you have addressed those issue, appeal and they will look back to your site and ad serving will be enabled in next 48 hours if you done everything right. Solution for Permanent ban ad serving disabledIt sucks when ad serving is disabled on your long term site or on your valuable domains, your sites will no longer be able to monetize by AdSense whether you use the same AdSense account or a new one. These sites have almost lost their market value but don’t worry we have got a hack to get ad serving back on these sites, this will take some time and effort, but it’s guaranteed to have ad serving enabled back, here’s how Safe Method: Change the Domain If you do care about your site but not about your domain then you can do this, in this case, you will change the address of old site to new one and will redirect old domain to new one, here’s how: Buy Another domain for your site, Change the address of your old site to new one and update all existing URLs, Redirect your old domain to the new one using 301 redirects. It will some time for Google to index your new domain but you don’t have to worry about anything, your ranking will be transferred to the new site, and ad serving will be fine, remember not to make same mistakes again. Method Two: Appeal using new Adsense account (risky) In this case, we are going to appeal Google from new Adsense account, you will pretend that you have recently bought the site, and you don’t know why Adsense in not working, they will check & enable Ad serving on site if they found it compliant with Google policies. First of all, carefully read emails you have received from Google about ban, find out the issues and resolve them, Once you are done with that, apply for another Google Adsense account with new site you haven’t used before if you don’t have any other site get one and apply for Adsense with different contact details, After you get your new Adsense account, monetize any new site with it and start earning more than 25$/week with it, wait for almost four weeks and you will see Contact option in Adsense, once that button appear, contact the team and tell them that you have bought a new site but ads are not working on it, They will give it another look, and if they found it Adsense complaint, they will re-enable ad serving on site within next 48 hours, You can now monetize your old site again. Same you can do for other sites too, but do it carefully if they got any issue with your sites they will ban all of them again. Method Three: Iframe (Not risky but not allowed too) If first two tactics don’t work for you then you can use iFrames, I have seen number people using them for years, and they aren’t getting any ban although Google official guide about iframe restrict publishers to use iFrames but believe me they are not going to ban you only for this reason. Iframes will increase page load time and consider as negative SEO factor but still you can use them to earn money from banned sites. Just add code on fresh site which is enabled for ad serving and then make a frame of that page and use it on disabled site, do this at your own risk. This how you can re-enable Ad serving, the same way my friend did. I wish you good luck, if you got any success, don’t forget to share with me too and also share this tutorial with your friends, you know many of blogger and webmasters want to have this information.
