If you must build a house outside the Southeast, let it be just a living house for you and your family and not more than one. If you must build for commercial purpose outside the Southeast, let it not be more than one and while at it, always think how to move your investments to the Southeast.

They are jealous and envious of you and your progress... Know this and know peace.

Then keep wondering why you don't develop

Name a serious country that develop without tax
Name a serious country that developed and us riddled with the kind of corruption in Nigeria.

You're talking about voting out a bad leader...
Does that work in Nigeria?

You vote doesn't count.

See bah, even in small organisations, people will be willing to contribute money so long as it will be used for the intended purpose but once corruption comes in, you will see people backing out.

It's not like that in our state or federal governments where anything goes

If I'm governor I would tax it... If you don't like it vote me out... If you allow me rig myself back in that's your business

But u see that tax u must pay or u loose your house.. If you don't like it vote and make sure your vote counts for who would give u best value for tax paid
Get yourself to the post of a governor and try it... Else, Na dreamland you dey. Until then, I don't have a response for you...

I don't really know why states are crying

The back bone of any government around the world is property tax

There are over 250,000 houses in each of these stated in city n towns

Valued at a minimum of 10 million to 500 million

Say average of 35 million

A property tax of 1% value of house is not bad 3% is ideal.. So let's go to 1.5%

That's easy 131 billion

But once u do this know u must work,
Know street have to be paved
Streets have to be clean
Roads must work
Know propaganda of tribe and religion won't work

Maybe these are the reason they don't go for it since they have enough to steal but not to work
Will you be willing to pay these taxes knowing fully well it will be embezzled?

They've been pushing people to the walls and their saving grace has always been tribalism. Try this across the nation and see a revolt that can't be contained.

They know this and they're scared.

santaclaws:

Imagine all of you commenting on a post you neither read nor understood. You saw the headline and rushed to the comment section and started typing... See 'intelligent' Nigerians! 🙄

What the post is saying is that before you can enter the UK on a skilled work visa, you must get a job that pays a MINIMUM of £38,700 instead of the old requirement of £26,200. This means it's now harder to enter the UK via work visa route as a foreigner!

How is that bad for UK and it's citizen Mr. 'intelligent'? And how is it good for Nigerians?
What are you insinuating?
Can Nigeria be developed to the point where this condition is set for immigrants?
Isn't this an insult you and your nation Mr. 'intelligent'? That you're being refused entry to another country which you're rushing to because of all the unfavourable conditions of your country?

Will the government compare themselves to the UK on this?

BAT will tell you guys “… I wish there was a way; but there’s not!”

When they start comparing it with US & Uk please ask them if 20 hours is the same thing as 24 hours. Even their proposed 20 hours isn’t guaranteed because of a lot of factors like “National grid collapse”, heavy downpours & thunderstorms, need to ‘dry’ the wires in the sun after a heavy downpour etc.

So that 20 hours might just work a few weeks to justify the N225 but trust me if those on the so called band A manage to see 12 hours after the first few weeks, then they should share testimonies in their respective churches
They won't compare minimum wages.

Just look at the rubbish this one is saying. So if someone comes out to say your mother fellated a cow and had sexual intercourse with a skunk, you will provide the information to your 'audience' even though "you don't support the story"?

If I were Nathaniel, I will sue you and your fellow purveyors of fake news for every penny you are worth. Enough of this rubbish. Examples need to be made so that people will become more responsible with how they spread news. We can preach Christ to them after they serve their jail terms, but until then, they need to be punished

Forget all these things this officer is saying As if law enforcement agencies ever obeyed the law.

Where was the law when they were shooting unarmed youths during the Lekki Tollgate Massacre?

Where was the law when they arrest innocent Nigerian men for carrying dreadlocks?

Nigeria is a country where they only come for you if you don't have money, clout, or connection.

You're not far from the truth. A poor cross dresser will be arrested, tortured, harrased and exploited by the Nigerian corrupt police.

Some people like to play victim mentality. You do not have proper documents.

The question is was the paper of Ukachukwu genuine or not.. Ministers don't approve or sign off land in Abuja, it's the work of the Director of lands, survey and urban planning in FCTA.

If the paper is genuine, why demolishing his property?? Your eye dey the land Wike not because there was no Minister.
