Giving out a total breakdown of the report. The Zonal Co-ordinator, Mr Alozie N.U decided to share and revealed the full statictics of the 2012/2013 Waec examination of her candidates.
Note that this article is coming to you, directly from the Nigerian Open University Educational NewsBroadcasting Team A total of 324,998 candidates registered forthe examination.
Now, out of these 310. 077 candidates, here are their gender statictics: 168,835 are Males: while 141,242 are Females: candidates who registered for thewaec examination.
WITHHELD RESULTS : The results of 51,876 candidates, representing 16. 73% of candidates are being withheld by the waec Board, based on variousreports, mostly for these candidates alleged involvement in examination malpractice.

While another Statistics shows that a Whooping Number of 250,487 candidates representing 80. 78% have 2 credits and above. While 217,161 candidates, representing 70. 03 of the total 2012 WAEC candidates, have threecredits and above.

Yet, another statictics shows that 180,480 candidates, which represented 58. 20% of this year’s candidates, have four credits and above in their results. Further Stats shows that 141,167 candidates representing 45. 52% of candidates who registered for this year’s examination, obtained the following: five (5) credits and above. While 99,750 candidates representing 32. 16%, did obtained six credits and above.

While on the basis of University admission qualifications, The Zonal Co-ordinator, Mr Alozie shedmore light on this: A total of 133,507 candidates representing 43. 06% obtained credit and above in English Language.

While a total of 151,569 candidates representing 48. 88% of candidates, has obtained creditand above in Mathematics. While 62,295 candidates, representing 20. 04%, obtained credits in the following subjects: English language, Mathematics and at least three other Subjects.

A whooping sum total of 33 blind candidates sat for this year’s examination, and from this figure,4 candidates, representing (12. 12%), obtained credits in five subjects. Which include the following: English Language.
Important Notice: Blind candidates are exempted from taking mathematics and science practicals in WASSCE diets.

That is the total stats of candidates performance in the 2012/2013 Waec Examination. Candidates who sat for the 2012/2013 waec examination can now check their results at thewaec official website.

It was a pity this evening when i heard about the death of a pdite in FUTA,according to my info,it was narrated the student went for night class in other to jack since the exam is almost at the cornea,so by the time he was coming from class that was when the accident happend,he was actually crushed down by a student lecturer,and gve up at d hsptal.


With the situatn nw,it seems the police are abt to charge d man to court,

The University has made
“appropriate plans” for a smooth
accommodation and integration
of freshers for the 2012/2013
Academic session.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor
Olusola Bandele Oyewole,
disclosed this while fielding
questions from newsmen after
monitoring the conduct of the
Post-University Tertiary
Matriculation Examination (POST-
UTME), at designated
Centres on Campus.
Professor Oyewole stated that
prior to the conduct of the
examination, Management had
determined the number of
candidates that could be offered
admission, based on the capacity
of facilities on ground.
Professor Oyewole revealed that
with the parameter used, with a
sincere approximation of
existing facilities, the
University may not be able to
admit more than 3,500 students
for the 2012/2013 academic
session.
According to him, “last year we
had 20,000 candidates for the
post-UTME, but right now it has
increased to 31,500. We have
made appropriate plans to
accommodate new students; our
capacity may not go beyond
3,500 students”.
Speaking further, Professor
Oyewole stated that “our
intention now is to improve on
our facilities by building new
classrooms and providing more
learning aids to accommodate
additional students”.
This is what we call survival of
the fittest.

Since the pume is out xo many student dnt knw hw to cal there compsite so if u dnt knw hw to calc it,just drop it here,u wil get ur compsite in less down 30min and also stay tuned for lastest unaab update,for now the highest mark 4 science is 68 and the lowest is 08 ..stay tuned for more update
