The city of Port Harcourt is still witnessing a brewing ‘war’ between two popular men of God, Apostle Chinyere Chibuzor of Omega Power Ministries OPM and Senior Pastor David Ibiyeomie founder of Salvation Ministries.

First was the silent move by Pastor David Ibiyeomie in destroying brothels, Night Clubs and joints that house prostitutes and adjoining businesses associated with weird life style.

Apostle Chinyere Chibuzor then took it upon himself to preach to the sex workers, baptize them and even join them in marriage.

Pastor David Ibiyeomie, during a recent program at his church in Port Harcourt, has declared that anyone that is 35 of age and is still unmarried is irresponsible.

According to him, “If you are still single at 35, you are an irresponsible person.” Adding that it is not the will God.

Well, Apostle Chibuzor chinyere didn’t agree with him, hence the shade below….

I've been in that hospital once, it was baaaad. A far cry from Gbadgada GH. The maternity ward was so jampacked with beds, you'd think it was a refugee camp. No space for patients to keep their stuff, for visitors to stay. The wall of the maternity ward is so dirty, I think I saw dried blood on it. The person I went to visit complained bitterly that she couldn't sleep at night because of mosquitoes. The saucy attitude of the nurses is another story entirely. Our general hospitals needs complete reform.

A pregnant Nigerian lady who is currently admitted at Orile Agege Genereal Hospital has taken to Instagram to share photos which captured the bad state of the hospital.

“Orile Agege General Hospital Extortion This is the current state of the toilets and bathrooms at OAGH ! In the maternity ward of all places! And only one of the 2toilets and 2bathrooms is functioning! In a ward of over 20 patients!just few days ago,a friend saw a centipede drop in their ward,another friend saw a leech in the only bathroom!a leech for Christ sake!that’s the toilet seat new mothers with all the blood and all are supposed to sit on!and at the very end they charge outrageous!#64,700! Excluding all the drugs and drips!cos we pay immediately! Imagine saying we must all pay #9,000 for 2 pints of blood even though we didn’t receive any blood and our husbands are mandated to donate blood before they register us for antenatal! Even the pharmacy sells drugs that are not labelled!the rats and mosquitoes are baba NLA! Meanwhile the doctors offices are A.C fitted!if I show u our ward(maternity) u’ll weep for our country! Pls rescue us o,before OAGH kills usi must confess,The doctors and nurses are very skilled and friendly !Kudos!

The University of Ibadan at its meeting held on Tuesday, 22nd August, 2017, concluded that prospective student should take note of the Criteria for admission as the admission screening exercise will take off soon. The criteria for the screening is as listed below.

UTME CUT-OFF POINT FOR THE UNIVERSITY
The Institutional UTME cut-off point for the University is still 200 marks. Therefore, only candidates who scored 200 and above are eligible to participate in the screening exercise that will take place at a time to be announced later. For the avoidance of doubt, any candidate with a score below 200 will not be considered for the screening.
POST UTME SCREENING

Candidates are requested to note that a written post UTME screening exercise will be held at a date to be communicated very soon. To this effect, candidates are advised to be on the lookout for the date and other modalities for the written test.

The authentic website from which all details about the post UTME exercise can be obtained is here .The University will not take any responsibility for any misleading and fraudulent information that may be obtained from any other website apart from the official University website.

CENTRAL ADMISSION PROCESSING SYSTEM (CAPS).

The 2017/18 admission exercise will be based on the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS), a system designed by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to automate the admissions process to tertiary institutions. The system introduces a number of innovations into the admission process.

These include opportunities for candidates to confirm provisional admissions thus eliminating cases of multiple admission or ignorance about admission status. Candidates are therefore advised to familiarize themselves with the process to enable them check and track their admission status at any point in time on the JAMB portal.

LOGIN IN OF BIODATA

Candidates will be able to login their biodata, prelude the post UTME screening with effect from the last week in August, 2017. Candidates should therefore be on the lookout for the opening of the portal. Please note that there will not be any extension to the closing date of the portal as the University is running behind schedule.

Recently, Blogger Linda Ikeji changed her blog’s url from lindaikeji..com to lindaikejisblog.com. In what seems to be a continuation of “repackaging” her blog, she has announced her readiness to move her blog away from the free platform which has been hosting her blog for over 10 years.

She made the announcement on her blog over the weekend amidst fear of the unknown. Anyway, preview of the new linda ikeji’s blog shows that it will rock a magazine design and will retain the old lindaikeji’s blog background and colour theme – and it seems she is not moving to the popular WordPress platform but to the same laravel platform used for Linda Ikeji Social

The new design is not as simple as the current design and it seems many of her blog readers are worried about this considering the comments on the blog post where she made the announcement.

Theo until his demise was a cool and jovial guy. who doesn't look for anyone's trouble, He was loved by all. A source said. Another guy was also reported shot on the same bar last month but he survived it.

A church in Congo known as Louzolo Amour, uses beer to cast demons out of their members.

Federal University Kashere (FUK), Gombe State has offered employment to seven first class out of its 309 graduates in the 2015/2016 academic session.

Prof. Alhassan Gani made this known this during the second convocation ceremony in Kashere , Akko Local Government Area on Saturday.

He said that among the seven offered jobs, was a female from the department of Mathematics, who was the best overall.

In his words, he said “In keeping with our tradition of giving automatic employment to our first class graduates, let me assure the 7 first class graduates of employment after completing their National Youth Service Corp (NYSC)”.

Gov. Ibrahim who was represented by his deputy Gov. Mr Charles Iliya, congratulated the students and wished them well in their future careers, he also called on the university management to introduce additional courses.

President Muhammadu Buhari, represented by the Director National University Commission (NUC), Dr Rukayyatu Abdulkarim, urged the graduands to apply the knowledge acquired for their future success.
