Whenever I think about marriage, it becomes more obvious to me that only uninformed men, or men who have chosen a lifetime of serious suffering, decide to get married.

Honestly, for the life of me, I don't see any benefit in the whole charade. First, sex isn't even guaranteed. Second, you have to live with a woman who values you only because you have a good job or a reliable source of income. Lose those, and you quickly become worthless to her.

You'll always have to worry about meeting society's expectations, like changing your car, maintaining it, sending your kids to a "good school," and attending social events that bore the hell out of you. If you're even more unlucky, your partner won't share your interests, leaving you constantly bored and eventually turning your marriage into a living hell.

So tell me, what's the benefit of marriage to men? Because I'm honestly at peace with the idea of staying single for life.
