Zooposki: That is because grandpa is not sincere. He just wants someone to look after him in his old age. Also men are scared to be alone during their old age and expire faster if they are not partnered, while the reverse is true for women. See him looking old and frail while grandma looking fresh and agile. Grandma should run cos grandpa might suck all the life out of her taking care of him. These are old people. There's no good running anywhere at that age. Besides, he may even be 10 years older than her, thus, the looks. |

Berankis:
I just wanted to comment @OP that this helping/cooperation thing is cultural. If it's not inherent in your culture as a people, it is not there! It can't change. Even within a family, we compete against each other to show who is doing better than the other, instead of help one another. That's within a family o... Let alone strangers you don't know. I can't talk about Ghanaians and other Africans but you see Yorubas are the worst! In terms of helping or cooperating to achieve success, they are the most useless tribe/set of people. Most arrogant, self-conceited, selfish and envious tribe. A Hausa man can shortlist other Hausa men for Jobs just by seeing their names that they are Northerners but Yorubas will never want to see another of their tribe do well. They prefer to even see other tribes in that position than another Yoruba person. Useless! God bless you. You are 100% correct. I have noticed this trait amongst the educated and privileged Yorubas. Most of them assume you lack because you areblazy. |

Health › Re: Rhesus Factor Incompatibility Leading Cause Of Miscarriage by LordIsaac(m): 12:08pm On Oct 18, 2024 |
elder1002: From genotype to rhesus factor.
The center of marriage is not for child bearing sha.. this is that part Africans needs to understand.
Two people may not be compatible by blood group or genotype but that doesn't mean they arent a perfect match psychologically and relationship wise.
Children will come, you will train them, they will marry and leave your house but your spouse will remain until death do you both.
Marriage is not about children, marriage is about love and partnership between a man and a woman, woman complementing the man in areas he is weak or needs assistance. Nigerians, and Nigerian in-laws will destroy any childless compatibility. Quote me daily! |

You can never trust them... They will also seek the atten and validation of men outside even though they have a man at home... It's not yours, it's just your turn... The man himself is stupid. Don't tell a woman something from the beginning and change it later. He was the one who entertained such nonsense conversation in the first place! |

Sounds to me like a lazy approach.
It was in the news today that Nigerian have lithium sold for dirt cheap by locals to Chinese.
Why can't the government tap into other areas that can generate revenue but requires work.
Outsourcing Mineral resources Agriculture ETC For someone providing his own electricity, medical bills, tuition, and even security...it's too much! |
