Whenever you see someone rating another, look at them very well... They have nothing that can be rated.

It's the first sign of failure.

No mind them. For their mind then be critics o. Even Charles Novia and Etcetera wey like to talk no yarn this kind thing. No be Davido IF Omarion dey jam in him car the other day abi no be Kesh Efejoku Lupita and her friends dey jam for one video like that? Foreign acts dishing crap back to back but black man slave mentality no go let them notice.
no one is excusing their foreign counterparts who sing trash. The problem here is that Nigerian air play is dominated by mediocre artists. Slave mentality you say buy you're quick to mention foreigners jamming to our local artists songs. If there's no criticism, these guys won't get better, let's do away with the idea that anyone who criticizes you is a hater it won't do us any good .

cheesy Aha! The other day I was watching video wheels or views and tunes? I can't remember the program but they were analyzing runtown's "mad over you". Temmy(of cool FM I think) said we take Nigerian artists too serious ,most of them do music for the vibes and for the money nothing more. When lil kesh became popular, Ehiz of MTV asked him what he thought about those who criticised his music because of the lyrics. Dude said he didn't care as long as the money was rolling in then all is well. See? We have few artists who truly love music in Nigeria, most are just entertainers who're in it for the money.Trust me if juju music starts selling tomorrow, these artists will not hesitate to switch. Look at olamide, when I heard his first song I thought " wow" but now he's singing pepper dem gang, what the mess?
Finally it all boils down to our society, it's a Nigerian thing- we love and revel in mediocrity

he's right you know you might not be there when things go sour but trust me they will. Half the sob stories you hear started from a faulty foundation. And as regards your earlier comment, keeping your man away from your friends won't solve anything. Bitches ain't loyal abi why then do you hang around with bitches? Sleep with dogs...
If your man has a roving eye Pele ti e o because these days even secretary self ready to snatch your man if he shows green light. I'm worried that people think hiding their man from hotter friends is the way to go, that just reduces love to nothingness. I have seen handsome guys with girls who are less than spectacular but refuse to cheat on them no matter what. Let us not use these cheats and liars as standard for living life. Forgive my long rant but o felt like putting this out there.

betrayal often comes from people you know but it's still no excuse not to have friends. Even the male friends we all claim yo prefer can use or betray you.Just select your friends carefully and prayerfully and the rest is life

Dear, the so called 'snatchers' dont come with tags, most of the time its the people you least expect that do the worst. Me,I cannot come and be dragging man,he wants you? You people should just go and leave me in peace.
truth is anybody can stab you in the back. My point is people should stop making it seem like it's only girls who "flaunt" their relationships that get betrayed by their friends or acquaintance. I don't foolishly trust people anyway but if peradventure my friend sleeps with my boyfriend then it's good riddance to them both! The boyfriend is equally as useless and untrustworthy as the friend. I'm tired of hearing all the "I don't keep female friends" I hide my bf " bs. Everyone be shouting don't keep female friends blah blah blah what are you? Are you not female yourself.

I am never for this school of thought and would never be.
Why do I have to keep my friends away from him if he doesn't have to keep his friends away from me.
Any man I have to Isolate from my friends for watever reasons never mine.
If he chooses my friend over me finally I will walk away no fighting. It will pain me that I had to be used to bring dem together but I will never stop being positive.
All relationships must not end in marriage.!
spot on dear I have never subscribed and never will to that school of thought. I mean why keep these so called boyfriend "snatchers" as friends in the first place? I'd rather not have friends than have backstabbing biatches as friends and continually hide everything good in my life from them before they destroy it.

You see what i say you degree is questionable... can't you just see. Your ignorance is a contagion spreading like wildfire, i am sure some persons will agree with me. I have never seen this obtuse level of ignorance in my life. Its quite a shame you are on of our first class graduates. Now i see why most firms say Nigerian graduates are not employable.

You should look up the meaning yourself, quite shameful
one you mean? I didn't graduate with a first class. You've been saying the same thing ever since it's honestly boring. Come up with a better argument if you can and the fact that you resort to throwing insults shows you have nothing but hot air in between your ears.
Did you just mention shameful? Let me tell you what shameful is: it is supporting a political rouge and crook like Dino

i still maintain whosoever awarded you a degree made a historic mistake, I am so irked trying to comprehend what you are saying, your writing skills doesn't speak well of your educational history. Please what you should do is, tell this to your neighbour in yoruba and make a plea to them to transcribe into English and post here again.
you could have simply asked politely for me to break it down for you since you lack comprehension. That's no surprise though considering you "standwithdino". Sleep with dogs you'll wake up with fleas.
Anyway in simpler terms for simpletons, what I'm saying is :graduating with a third class is not the end of the world BUT do not make it seem like a good thing. You can make something out of your life after failure but it doesn't mean failure is in itself a good thing. It is at best something which may or may not spur you on to greater things.
P.S: you're the one who needs a degree review and by transcribe ,did you mean translate?

This is crap and incoherent. whosoever awarded you a degree made a historic mistake! #IstandwithDino
you're a graduate? You can come up with something better and smarter than this. Then again maybe not. Successful people -except of course in the Nigerian context; and that's why we're miles behind the rest of the world and sinking deeper into the deluge of mediocrity and spuriousness-do not glory in failure. Rather they glory in rising from their failures. Take notes boy- there's a difference, a huuuge one.

#ISTANDWITHDINO
Now this is disturbing! You know what is wrong with Nigeria? We celebrate mediocrity. How can you stand with Dino; a person with questionable qualifications (apart from the third class)? See, my jamb score was quite low but I put in extra effort for my putme and I got admission to my course of choice and my current result is top. That doesn't mean I should start bragging about getting a low jamb score or perhaps doing better than people who had higher scores. It makes no fuc.king sense!

It's not acrime to graduate with a third class neither is it a thing of pride. I believe every one has the capacity to graduate with something better all things being equal. If peradventure something happens and you graduate with a poor result(because a 3rd class is) ,it's not the end of the world but puhlease don't flaunt it in our faces like it's a great achievement. You are encouraging others to be lazy and not give their best and I have a problem with that. Just because some third class graduates were able to turn their lives around doesn't mean we should encourage others to tow that line. For every third class holder out there making it,there are tons who are biting their fingers for wasting their potential.

Are these the same people that were advising the guy on that other thread not to visit his father in law as requested? They were busy shouting "you're married, in-laws should butt out of your marriage...". See them here twisting issues and telling the op to be nice to MIL because she'll be one someday. Woe betide anyone who takes NL advice that serious. Dear op,please work out your issues with your husband off nairaland
It beats my imagination that some people are trying to justify name calling.Verbal abuse is wrong on all fronts.

It's a harmless tradition, just say the darn thank ma and move on. Growing up we were taught to say thank you to every elderly person around after eating, it's a sign of gratitude and respect regardless of who actually prepared the meal. It is just the way yorubas kneel to greet; I find it to be a strange culture but if I were to marry a Yoruba person,I'll endeavour to kneel when greeting in-laws. Life is not that hard

My dear, I am certain of one thing; you don't know me.

By saying "coming from you", a verdict is being passed when you don't even have a inkling on who you are so grandiosely pontificating about.

My candid advice?

Be guided by the mantra "DIFFERENT STROKES, FOR DIFFERENT FOLKS".

I don't need to see things from your own perspective, be it a well enlightened or myopic one.
it does seem contradictory, judging from your previous comment which was in agreement to a certain person's own. Both of you don't know the lady in question but assumed she was one of them " squad girls". My advice?

You should use your own advice more often.

How is my preference any concern of yours?

I prefer to stick with a lady that can blend into my social circle, so I don't see how that affects the fate of women.

Am with you on this one. Many of them keep a flock of empty headed female friends whom they consult, or expose every detail of their love life. Ironically, such friends don't reveal anything about themselves. I hardly associate with any lady that keep female friends
and from the post you guys concluded she must be guilty of all these huh? And I thought women were the ones who jumped into conclusion. So guys don't keep empty headed friends that encourage them to sample all available even if they have a girlfriend? You hardly associate with any lady that keeps female friends? It's the one with male friends you like so jealousy will kill the relationship or better still no friends at all cheesy you lot are funny! and yes Nigerian women have suffered
Romance / Re: Heartbroken Lady Calls On God After Loosing Her Fiance To Her Close Friend (pic) by Lordkylie(f): 1:32pm On Mar 24, 2017
This world is lost! Look at all the people on this thread blaming the woman and her friend but as usual conveniently leaving out the man. Like you guys don't talk about your girlfriends to your own friends. All of them saying, keep your relationship hush hush na story. The guy could have as well left her for someone else. Both the backstabbing friend and the backstabbing fiancé are equally at fault but then this is Nigeria where we excel at denying obvious truths
