The Caspian sea is bordered by Iran, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Azerbaijan.

These are major oil nations, Iran's competitors, so Iran can't profit using the Caspian sea.

On 27 July to 29 July, Over two consecutive nights Ukraine launched one of its deepest long-range attacks yet. Putin's bomber, and 3 Refineries and one oil depot destroyed.

What was destroyed:

1. Night One: Bashkortostan:
Three major oil refineries were hit nearly 1,600km from the Ukrainian border.

2. Night Two: Saratov Region + Engels
-Engels Strategic Airbase — home to Russia’s Tu-95MS and Tu-160 nuclear-capable bombers. This was supposed to be a “safe haven” for Russia’s bomber fleet after Operation Spiderweb.

3. Saratov Oil Refinery — struck alongside the base
4. Kaluga Fuel Depot destroyed
-5. Bryansk Drone Site Destroyed

Why it matters:

1. Engels: This base houses Russia’s nuclear-capable strategic bombers. Hitting it breaks the idea that relocating bombers east made them untouchable after Spiderweb.

2. Refining: The Bashkortostan + Saratov refinery hits add to the campaign that has now disrupted nearly half of Russia’s nominal refining capacity.

3. Nuclear Triad Implications: With bombers at Engels targeted, the strike goes beyond oil and into Russia’s nuclear deterrent infrastructure.

This could mean Ukraine will disrupt Russia's Nuclear Strength.

Confirmed targets: 3 refineries in Bashkortostan, Engels airbase, Saratov refinery, Kaluga fuel depot, Bryansk drone site. all destroyed.

Oil Companies in the world are disputing the fact that the Strait of Homuz disrupted world oil production, and their higher monthly profits speaks volumes.

There are 190 UN recorded nations on earth, and 90 of those nations have Oil, the strait of Homuz is only used by less than 10% of these 90 oil nations. Which affect, the world can easily find alternate among the remaining 83 Oil nations.
