Russia does not need Kyiv, they only need the Eastern part of Ukraine, which are Russian speaking. Just in case you don't know, the Size of land Russia has occupied since the war is bigger than the Netherlands at least thrice.

Also, Russia can take Kyiv if that is their goal. They did surround Kyiv just a few weeks after the invasion started.

They only withdrew from Kyiv as a display of goodwill after Ukraine signed the peace agreement in Istanbul in about March 2022, until Boris Johnson advised Ukraine to continue the war.

If you are listening and thinking for yourself, all that I am saying is self-evident. Also, defeating Ukraine is easy. If I am fighting with a child but beating him with a pillow, does it mean I can't carry him and break his neck?

Russia sees Ukraine as a brotherly nation that has been poisoned by the West, hence they are fighting with gloves on. But if the French or Nato dare march into Russia, then it will be all gloves off.

Fun fact. Israel has killed more civilians in Gaza in a war that is a few months old, than Russia in over two years of war. If you are in cities like Kyiv, you won't know there is war. Just like if you are in Lagos, you won't know there is a war in the North.

I repeat, Russia is just practicing restraint. You will see Russia in its beast form when Nato troops officially join the war, and then you understand that media and trans don't win the war, but real strength.

And most importantly, learn to think for yourself. It's the greatest gift you can give yourself. To avoid being a sheep of propaganda.
