I have observed for long that many in the country do not know about projects going on around them. I remember discussing with someone back home about the land reclamation work ongoing in Lagos and the birth of a new city- Eko Atlantic City, the whole gist was foreign to him. How could someone be so much in the dark on such a big project going on in his backyard? I wondered. This brought me the idea of harvesting picture updates on some of Nigeria's biggest projects and no better place would be a fitting platform than the largest online forum in Africa- Nairaland. This topic would thus help people back home and those of us in the diaspora to follow up on some interesting projects going on in the country. Each project is introduced in this format with accompanying pictures; Project Name: Specifications: Status: Expected Completion: Budget: Enjoy ![]() Pictures from Skyscrapercity- Nigeria section http://www.skyscrapercity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1474 |
Talph: have you seen a solution to your s4 heating up going thru sameNo solution bro. Thinking of changing it |
What's the point of having your pockets bent to buy a high-end device and still have the device bent through normal use. Blue chip companies like Apple are making substantial compromises in traditional designs and durability just to compete favourably. It started with a cheaper variant of the IPhone 5 called 'c'..what da heck. These companies churn out expensive garbage called 'flagship smartphones' every year and then u just have to keep buying cos one way or d other the old phone becomes a liability. From reduction in software support to hardware failure. My Galaxy S4 gets so hot at times that it could fry balls while it sits in d pocket. A subtle way of telling me it needs a brother |
Yea ryt...which introduces another Shekau. ACT 3 SCENE1 ![]() #TooManyShekausOutThere |
Gud job @op, but that list needs to be reviewed. It does no justice to the towers in Abuja's WTC, and the Millennium tower. The stratosphere building proposed by silverbird grp isn't the one depicted in your opening post. Your list would only be valid if the present date is changed to 07/09/2005. |
