Some BB USERS just dey make mockery of themselves here, as if we wey get android never use BB or not still get, if u guys dont Know BB is history its extinct. And this thing they are saying about BB compressing data is pure falacy, are you saying if u download 500mb movie wit BB it will automatically compress it to 20mb and still(LMFAO), some ppl r just dumb. The only reason BB user are given higher data is simply becos BB phones are caged their is limit to things u can do with it in terms of apps and download controlled by BB APN blackberry.net and if u try anything out of the cage u get charged on your credit abi no b so?, one other thing i discover is that these BB USERS dont understand how their data is being trafficked they think BB company is the one giving them data connection thats y their data is cheap, LoL y not remove your sim card and browse wit ur BB, anyway remember today is not school day, and we that started this movement are not fools we know so so much about this thing, stop fighting us for what we know, and if u want to know about data pricing in the world search google, you will learn better. We will surely prevail

Its good to be informed in life, do you know u can get 6gig worth of data for around 1000naira in india, and here we are with our telecom operators giving us 200mb for 1k adding 50mb bonus as if they r doing us a favour. Its hightime for a change.

It seem we are getting out of focus in this trend. We need to remind ourselves the reason for this movement.
1. This movement is geared towards getting greater value for data plan subscription on all mobile platform atleast we should get Gigs for 1k subscription and not just 200mb(which is ridiculous)
2.If u join this movement half way please go back to the front page and read the first post. This movement is for all mobile platforms and tablets in relation to the point number 1 and we are not in contest with "BB USERS"
3.This movement is to show symbol for a better nigeria where people get value for their money, compared to other countries around the world, we nigerians are being exthorted by these telecom operators(over 5k for 3gig data is cruel)
finally remember MTN came into this country selling SIM CARDS for as high as 30-40k which is sell for just 100naira today, billing us per minute even if its just a second flash for 40naira, SMS for 20naira tnx to GLO who pioneered a change, sincerely what we are asking for here is nothing compared to whats going on in the world. We still pay 5naira pes SMS, do you know SMS is free in advance countries. Please we shouldnt be distracted fighting ourselves, lets remain focused on our key point. together we will have a huge success. Thanks

Yesterday before i slept this thread was just over 1500 views but waking up this morning was suprised to see it has attracted over 6000+ views in more than 6 pages, this is the result of few of us who made efforts in publicising this campaign on every platform possible, lets do more today, twitter facebook, call customer care(its absolutely free:tell them what we want that we are going stage a serious protest against them if they do not comply) call ncc we need them to do something about it else we nigeriam youths will put these network services to a loss. GOD help us.

MTN is making billions in profit from hard working nigerians, they must give us what we need, all Nairalanders with private blogs should use their platform to voice loud our demands, anybody with ideas on how to make our voice heard should post, tell your friends and family about it, send them links and clicks to this movement, i promise you when this will be over we would av achieved beyond our expectation.

ITbomb: Let's reason together.

This is not MTN, Airtel, glo, etisalat etc fault.
The networks are still not robust enough to offer larger bandwidth to subscribers.
What happen is that to maintain perculiar efficient blackberry service, RIM allow network providers to channel all data from their devices through their servers. With this, network providers are able to grant voluminous data to blackberry subscribers cos it is not passing through their servers.
.
Granting non-BB subscribers such data freedom officially through their servers would simply overwhemled network providers' servers and bring internet service to a crawl.
.
The issue can be solved if google or samsung could provide a specialized server just like that of RIM for BB
, then network providers would simply channel all data from Android devices through the access point: google.com and open unlimited downloads for android devices. Simple
For now, manage with DroidVPN or any other till internet cost comes down.
your post is pure falacy, do you think we protesting are just bunch of fools? You are talking about BB apn helping MTN reduce traffic, what about Airtel apn which works flawlessly if used for BB Subscription, where by MTN Apn does not even work with BB subscription, what if we all choose to to subscribe to MTN GIG PLANS, are they going to return our money and say oh please take back your money we cant handle the data? Bro wise up, MTN is making billions of naira in profit here in nigeria and its high time they started investing the money back into our country and provide us with cheaper better services, No make me vex oh, Oya make una join the movement scatter their twitter, fb and customer care line they must reply us. With God all things are possible. Lords'.

The best way to get MTN attention is to storm their pages on twitter and facebook, lets make our request known and if we mount enough pressure we will get the results we desire. Other service provider pages should be stormed as well. Remember, if we all stick together and mobilise people for this, impossibility is nothing. lords
