Any serious showrunner should completely disregard online criticism if it wants to survive in the entertainment industry. Online, I always see posts complaining that educational shows are on the decline. Unemployed people claim BBNaija would lose market if educational programs returned to the airwaves.

I’m here watching The Next Titan. I have never seen any thread dedicated to the program. If it existed, people who’d patronize it would not total to ten at best. We saw what happened when Gulder Ultimate Search and WWTBAM returned. The common comment I saw which dominated their threads was “thank God for this return. Nobody will patronize BBNaija again.” No comment past that focused on the show’s actions. Well, we know how those ended up.

Nigerians are hypocrites. They don’t know what’s good for them. Give them what they want and they will still find means to complain.
