In an advanced world or in Nigeria. That boy in the link probably had more educated and modern parents than 70% of parents over 50 today. Parents today will still tell their kids to look for stable 60k job and grow. So again a 12 year old boy 7 years ago in nigeria where Internet and social media was barely just finding its ground is not possible.

The boy in the link is 12 in 2021. With laptop, light, Internet, parents with cash and a thriving tech community at his feet. 7 years ago in nigeria did u even have android phone? Speak less of a 12 year old from an average family.

Let's be realistic. We are nigerians
Who said anything about Android phone?
You talking 7 years ago like it was the dark ages..
Boy I had Nairaland, deepweb and quora
I had a laptop!
I had everything this kid has in miniature sizes.
Heck, I and a friend found a huge book on "How to make your own Desktop computer" and if we weren't poor and seen as mad we'd have made it
Talking as if we haven't had Nigerian kids with innovations under their belt like mini cars, and unbelievably hight SAT scores etc...
Cc. Wrexman, I don tire for this your guy
EducationRe: What Is The Hardest Language To Learn In Nigeria? by Lorex6: 8:39am On Nov 17, 2021
Sigggy:
To correct those about above me... Igbo is not the hardest. I personally learnt fluent igbo within just a year of staying in Ibusa, Delta state.

Then I think yoruba is the easiest to learn.

Then from my personal lingual experiences, Tiv (from Benue state) should be the hardest to learn. Then Ibibio/Efik follows immediately after.
Leave Delta and go to Imo, they'll speak Igbo and it will sound like advanced Japanese

I could know Bitcoin before ethereum was launched, hacked and relaunched or I could be lying
I could be a programmer that want to upskill or I could just be seeking clout

Blame your lapses on yourself not on the language.
I understand Fulani, Panso, Hausa... So?

Lies!

Ask around from other language ethnicities, they will confirm that Igbo is easier than most.

The Igbo language is so easy you can start picking up words on the first day of hearing them.

Have you heard Gokana and Ogoni speak their language?
Igbo

If you had followed up on Bitcoin 7 years ago, you most likely won't be sharing this post today. Even if you were, it would probably be from the comfort of your own yacht or something less flamboyant smiley

The point here is that blockchain is the future. And one of the most critical factors to making bank is to get in early. (e.g. Eth was $10 in 2016, it's $4,600 as at this morning)
We haven't even began to scratch the surface yet. Don't follow the bandwagon who only see "bitcoin" as the end product of blockchain.
Teenagers like you are forging ahead, defining and creating the future as we speak.

I'd suggest you switch your allegiance to Twitter and Discord rather than Nairaland for valuable networking and resources to help you navigate the volatile terrain.
You may also check out developments in NFTs (Popular ones are Bored Apes Yatch Club, Cryptopunks, Coolcats, etc) and the Metaverse as well. (Metaverse gaming and real estate will explode in 2022, you may wanna check that out too).

I wish you all the best in your journey. WAGMI smiley
Eei God! I cannot thank you enough boss. You a dev. too?

Look my brother let me give you an advice close to my heart... You're like a younger bro I never had and I like it when I see young folks like you wanting to make it the legit way.. See that barbing skill you have is an asset!! When I travelled to Europe 2 years ago it was so hard to get a good barber to barb my hair. You won't believe that I spent €30 to barb my hair.... I was so shocked!!!! The truth is that if u can save money and make your way to any European country, my brother with your barbing skill you will make so much money!!
thanks, but I never want travel and see school

You are still very young, go to school and learn blockchain development on the side and you can also be doing your barbing business in school too,you definitely won't go broke in school.
Just go to school
You just like my mom... This is weird
Ends everything with 'just go to school'

Lorex6 I greatly admire your courage and entrepreneurial spirit at such tender age.

Please forget whatever returns you are making on barbing while the income is really much personally I don't see it as a long term business except you are really able to grow it so big and of standard that it becomes a brand.

While learning blockchain or any other digital skill may take time to yield returns and most likely you will run into big challenges capable of killing your passion or commitment, the long term result is just massively overwhelming if you can focus and pull through.

As regards education I be fan of education oo, so please try and combine your academics with the side hustle, most likely you won't come out with excellent grades cause of your divided attention but make sure in that four years you master the skill. I am sure the sky wont stop you.
This is gold

You can do all together with time and dedication. Don't rush it . Please go to school. That shouldn't be compromised . You don't have to be the best in your class or anything , just go to school acquire knowledge and make lots of contacts. Walk with likeminds like yourself and you will achieve more . One of the Best thing out of school is the people you will meet.

If you have a laptop and active Internet, your learnings with be easier.

Barbing could be a side hustle.
Don't be greedy, don't compare yourself with others. Be contented.

Doing all these together makes you an HUSTLER. This is king of HUSTLING we are talking about, not some shady, fraud or drug dealings.

You are still young . You have plenty time. I sincerely respect your hustle man. It is a motivation to other youths. Please keep it up and you will see how far you will go.

Don't be greedy, don't compare yourself with others ,live withing your means, Go legit!
Thanks. I appreciate
