Parrotpal: Sir, I understand your drift. But the issue is how do I learn the trade? And if I am to intern with anyone already in the business, is 2-3 months enough to know the rope of the business. You also mentioned meeting the manufacturers physically. I thought phone accessories are produced in China, how do I meet them physically in far away China, remember we are dealing with just N300k.
Also, I understand you are already in the business, are you open to tutoring someone sir? I want to learn plz |

Alabaintprice: Biko... Do not, I repeat. Do not venture into importing mobile accessories with 300k unless you want to loose your money. Now let me ask you. What knowledge do you have about the business? Do you know the risk involved in it? Do you know how much it cost to ship goods to Nigeria? Which method do you want to use to send your goods down to Nigeria? Have you compared the landing cost of the goods you intend to buy then comparing them with the price ssold in alaba international ?
As a wholesale in the business in alaba international , I will confidently tell you that if you intend to go into the business with 300k then put it at the back of your mind that you are only bringing in one particular product. You can't use 300k to bring in sonant items. Manufacturers won't take you serious and quantity of goods determine the price you get. Don't mind what you see in 1688. Meet with the manufacturer face to face and see the price difference. If you want to be successful in the business do like every other person. You have to learn it first then raise a good amount for capital to become an importer. Anyone telling you that you can do that is misleading you big time. Learn the business first before any other thing. what can 300k do for me I want to start ASAP |

monimekaz: Oga op this is my advice : if you want to venture into phone accessories business make sure you know how to do basic phone repair like : changing touchpad and screen, changing charging port ,changing mouthpiece and speaker for the hardwares. These are the major hardware problems in phones . Then softwares like flashing , unlocking etc. You can use this to compliment the accessories. Hardware alone can give you minimum of 4k per day ..software minimum of 3k per day . People make 15-20k per day ooo.I'm talking from experience. If you can give in to this combination, forget about all this grammar here abeg, you will make money. I mean money . I like your suggest I'd go for software by where can I buy accessories at cheaper rate and do you have better business alternative |

Muzikluva: Mr! 300k is more than enough. I am into mini-importation and the first orders I ever did spent about 50k or so and I made my profit tho it was not so much but I have been progressing. Recently I spent about 200k on goods on my last orders and I know how huge my profit will be. If I had more I would have spent more. In essence all I am saying is either you import something to resell particularly if you are in a student area or you do a mini scale farming. But be careful of scammers. So many people here would have calculated how they would scam you of your money. BTW, where is your location?? I'm looking for a better option will be okay if you enlighten me more |

nextstep: Er, there's a difference between innovative ideas that nobody knows how to evaluate, vs. a tried and true business where the numbers are clear: 300k is not enough to start a sustainable business in phone accessories business. There's nothing new or unknown about selling accessories, and those with experience have given their advise.
If the goal is to make money, I just pointed out that with 300k, there are options less risky than selling accessories.
For every Zuckerberg or Page, there are thousands of others for whom their ideas did not pan out.
But you're right, we just never know, and we will be back to praise him should his idea work. what can I start with 300k plz |

IMAliyu: Depends on if you want to open a shop or you want to do direct business with people or other students. For a shop it is too little, but for direct sales it's more than enough. With as little as 5k I buy earphones, rings or memory cards from AliExpress and sell it directly to friends and people that request it in school. The profits are not that large, but it gives me spending money. I want to open shop, I ve money for shop renting ,300k will be only used for goods |

greatnaija01: you can IMPORT... mini importation requires less than 50k TO be able to make 100k monthly you can EXPORT... it requires less than 100k too you can go into TRANSPORT and buy USED KEKE for 250/300 AND put it on Higher purchase and you will be getting 23500 EVERY WEEK FOR A YEAR. You can sell ladies hair, i mean the peruvian hair and make 200% per sale... or employ a lady to do it. There are many websites where it is sold for less than 5000 naira... I once bought one long length for 4800 through importation. You can sell, USB, phone chargers and cords... they are very very much in demand... you can sell USB fridge... I once bought one for 5k Last month... through importation.
You can also RENT a shop in lagos for 100k and buy clipper and mirror and a few things with GENERATOR and employ a barber who will give you 30k weekly for 3 years.
YOU ARE A STUDENT... you can buy a laptop and help people do research on project topics or type... IF YOU HAVE THE TIME.
You can also sell USB FAN to students whose hostels are always HOT and NEED constant Light.
you can actually use 50k to invest in goat farming and get 30% profit every 6 months for LIFE. or 65k to invest in crop farming and get 60-80% every 4-5 months... for the next 10 years...
YOUR OPTIONS ARE UNLIMITED.... Nigeria is not as bad as many portray it. I have done most of these things and I am making money from it. So do your research, get to learn mini-importation for free from any of the threads on nairaland and BEGIN YOUR JOURNEY TO WEALTH.
I wish you all the best. God bless you |
