@evans105, the secret truth is that, the consular officials are well trained professionals. Let me tell u, ,going for a diploma course of seven months like the medical assistantship you applied to at sanz is quite fishy. Look! You should have applied for an associate degree of 2yrs programme. Ok let me say this, ur fiance is a legal residence permit in US and not US born citizen. If she were a united states citizen, the consular would have issued you the visa knowingly fully well that you'll be secured in US. The best thing you guys can do is to go for a fiance visa. Your lady must come to Nigeria and both of you married. She'd then take the pictures taken back to US and file a petition for a fiance visa on ur behalf. See,you wont need to do anything as everything would be done in US on your behalf. The consular official will then call you to bring your passport to be endorsed the visa. The process usually takes three to four months i guess. Next time, try and be open and faithful to the visa official cos they know everything. Goodluck!

@phuck_NL, you'll get to the States if that's all you wanted. But you guys shouldn't fight over a little thing. Let me tell you all guys that America is not a place of gold as you might be wrongly informed. You'll work hard as though you're in Naija, and i must tell you that, some people just exist here and nothing for them, even majority of Americans. So you'll understand better when you get here. I will never discouraged anybody from coming here, but look well before you leap. Nigeria might be your own America in your case. But trust me,Im blessed in America and maybe its my place. So bro, you're welcome to God's own Country anytime you choose to come. Peace to ya"all.

@Rockzy and Sunboy, you do not have access to your transcript, No never! Its highly confidential as its ur school(university or poly,or college)that will send it to ur international school, They dont need ur secondary school transcript as most of them requires that you obtain a scratch card of either Neco GCE or WAEC scan and attach it to an email so that they can verify your result online. But in the case of university or poly or college of education, your school in Nigeria must send the transcript to them and not you, You dont have access to transcript for if you do,then its no longer confidential and they wont accept it. In my own case,i finished from university of Lagos, had Unilag sent my transcript officially and that was it.
@Rockzy, you dont need to send your Toefl now.you can do that later. Send your transcript now and follow the procedure i highlighted above. Take care ya all,

Ok.Do as you're being advised by the school. But trust me,ur school cant release details of ur transcript to u except its a quack school which i want to believe is not, You may scan ur certificate result to them which is subject to verification the moment they receive ur official transcript from ur school. Trust me again, there are no short cut to this except someone is out there trying to kick the buck outta u. Be wise!

Travel / Re: General U.S.A (student) Visa Enquiries by Lotuken(m): 7:34am On Feb 13, 2010
@sunboy, d first step you need is to send ur transcript to them which your school must send officially, Have they asked for evalutation of your result? Hurry up and do what is necessary.

@4ril,does it really matter if ur uncle writes a Notarized letter stating ur relationship with him? The consular officer ask this question verbally and not in writing. Anyway, you may want to have that as a leverage ok. Good luck!

@ WARYZ,some schools requires u to pay deposit before your form 1-20 can be issued. All u need is ur form 1- 20,SEVIS fee which is $200 and ur financial account details, You need international passport of course and pay ur visa and appointment fees.See the SEVIS and form 1- 20 are d most important documents u need, Pay ur SEVIS fees and print out d receipt online at least 5days to ur interview, See, these two documents, you will need to show the immigration officer at POE(port of entry) before they can allow u enter the boarder. O boy, once you pass boarder, na him be say you don enta yankee be dat, If not,i no fit shout oo.Back to Murtala. May God grant u ur heart desire in Jesus Name, A big AMEN.

@afrodoc,to answer your question correctly,ur US based sponsor,is he/she a Nigerian or an American? In the case of a Nigerian,it might be a little bit difficult but no hassle, While in the case of an American being your sponsor probably ur spouse or kinda, wow, You have a greater plus for securing your visa easily, It happens to me and my spouse is a Texan so i got mine easily without any strong ties issue, May God see u thru,

@Bisiaet,I dont think u know what ur saying. Ur comparing Nigeria with Iraq or Afghanistan, Let me tell u what u don't know, American government were still surprised that a peace loving nation like Nigeria was caught up in a dilemma of terrorism and they're trying to see why it happened. There is a smooth relationship between the government of America and Nigeria and they're trying to keep this. So if Mutallab snr is clean, let him come here and explain why Nigeria's name should be removed from the watch list and those that have been banned from coming here pardoned, So please think before u talk or ur words are just trash, Let him come here and explain to the whole world that Nigeria afterall is not a terrorist nation, Or else be ready to have all ur muslim relations here back home asap, Copy? Mr Mutalab should just honor the invitation for his own good, Look! I cant condone grievous activities done by the northern leaders in Nigeria. And i think their ban to come here is a welcome development.

I never wish to comment on this aberrant lad who choose to bomb a US airbus after he was misled by what i put as degrading and xenophobia islamic extremists who had instructed him to detonate the bomb inside the aircraft. Well, having bastardize the country's image and his non chalant attitude, his father should go and clear his ass and ensure he reposition the image of the country back to her former. I dont care if the US government detained him, we cannot because of his useless son and the fact that he got his money through embesslement now sayin he shouldn't go for the invitation. See, its his call. I need the government of this country to close down all islamic schools and cancel all the stupid Sharia nonsense they imported into this innocent country. Muslim is a good religion but some are as bad as rotten egg, They should be removed completely.
