Me. I do not have Kids yet, me and my husband have been trying for Kids, so am using this opportunity to go and study then come back after the duration of my study to my husband so we can continue trying for Kids.

V.O Do you have relatives in the US

Me . Yes I do

V. O - Where are they based

Me - They are based in Nevada.

Sorry you are not qualified for this Visa and I was issued the blue paper again. I was perplexed and confused.

Please I need assistance on how to go about this in my next interview, I do not want to get denied again.

LAMBA! No dey bobo people. The CARE ACT is for Americans. If you got it, you have just gotten something that may work against you in the future. See, you are just landing don't be in haste to get rich in America. The Care act does not even pay all americans in college, it is through a nomination and the bulk of payment goes into most of their school debts.

I was denied Visa on the 16th of September in Abuja because I said I have a brother and a mother in the United States. I was surprised because I told the Visa Officer I was married but he still denied me the Visa. Please how do I answer better next time as I will be going for my third interview this Month. I thought Marriage is enough proof of ties?

Me: I'm going for my Master of laws program in Public International law under the foreign lawyers program since my practice jurisdiction is not within the States (I said this cos my I20 says LLM - foreign lawyers program, so I used it to my advantage)

V.O: Where do you currently work?

Me: I run my own law firm ****LLP alongside my partner counsel **** Bruno Tobi. He will be in charge while I go for my studies, I also run a non-for-profit the Center for ****** on the side.

V.O: How many staff do have there?

Me: We have 2 associates, one intern and 2 office assistants.

V. O: What are you going to do when you return from this program?

Me: I will return to my position as the managing partner of our firm *****LLP and also see to the launching of our mediation center under the auspices of the Center for ******.

Me: My elder sister Claire will paying for my deficit.

*Personal tip:*
Start early, don't be in a haste else you blur your chances. (I took me 3 solid years) prepare well, fast and pray, as a Catholic I had to do some long novenas, avoided all the daughter's of eve that came calling to come to my house and massage me

Secondly, guys grace works, but you have to do the work especially your DS160 form (make sure infos rhyme with your previous interview forms), take your time and fill it well. But above all pray, fast and fervently ask for uncommon favour and grace.

While at the US embassy, I noticed that all the embassy staff including the V.O were extremely kind and polite towards me, unlike in my first interview. I went to this interview more spiritually prepared than ever. Only God saw me true. Jesus Christ owes all the credit.

Please my sister has been to the US twice on visiting visa and returned. Now she just finished her waec and has good grades last year. She intends to study medicine at Bowen university but we also suggest trying F1 visa for her for schools offering medicine in united States, can anyone help with schools that offer medicine for undergraduate. What is her chance of securing the F1 visa. Please advice. She is just 17 years old now.

Yes. You are eligible to choose a date 2 months after your denial. My advice chose regular visa priority and chose a date that is 2 months after your visa denial


Good afternoon everyone,

I was denied visa in August, I had to defer to Spring and I just got my updated form I-20. I tried reapplying for a date last night, and was told that there was no date available in Abuja. Before trying to pick a date, there was a place where I was asked if I have been denied within the past 2 months, which I selected. Could that be the reason why I could not pick a date? Or who else is experiencing the same thing?

Please can I still pick another date once I checked and I found a closer date without requesting for Expedited yet and how many times can I do that please.

Hmnnn yes I did and I was told I have until sept 3 to resume with no official letter sent. So I should request for another I-20?

Good afternoon house. Please my school resumption date is 13th of January for spring 2022 and I have my appointment date for 18th of January. It is stated I can only apply for Expedited 60 days before resumption, please based on your experience, what should I do. When is the best time for me to apply for expedited based on there regulations so as not to go contrary to their regulations

Hello house! I got admission to for masters to a school in the USA early this month (august). Just finished up all i need to do, paid my SEVIS fee, submitted my DS-160 form and paid the fee. However on trying to book an appointment, i found out the earliest day is June of 2022. The resumption date for my classes is early January 2022. I decided to try emergency/expedite appointment; but on reading the instructions to qualify for that the resumption date has to be within 60days. I’m bewildered as I would think 3months plus is more than enough time to get a visa appointment
Please help!!!!!!

Hello everyone , EA approved for 26th August on the 4th of August , resumption is on the 23rd. Can I still make it or just defer Also , When my visa is approved , would I have an issue at the POE if par adventure I leave on the 30th or 31st ?

Good Day My Ogas in the house , Please I have my admission letter to initially start for fall (August) but my program coordinator advised I move to spring due to limited time for visa processes which I agreed and my admission status is now reflecting spring however my form i-20 was also issued that same yesterday that I got a deferred from fall to spring. Note: my form I 20 is still Stating that my program start date to be 18 August 2021 to may 2023... Questions, please what I'm advised to do I this kind of situation ... Good evening, fam.

1.I changed my major (initially wrote to my school to not apply the change until I arrived on campus, but they didn't pay attention, I guess). So, I have been issued a new I-20.
I mailed the immigration officer in my school about what I could do. she advised I take my most recent I-20 for my interview and that I explain the reason for the change at the visa interview. Do you think this will do? Or do so need to fill a new Ds-160?

2. School resumes on the 18th of August with a self-guided virtual presentation which runs from the 1st to 18th of August. My visa interview date is stated for 23rd August, when classes start. He mailed hisschool informing them will be coming in late and they said it's okay but they didn't give a letter of extension. The school said I wouldn't need one at the interview. One thing is getting visa another thing is giving your entry into the United States. It will take a few days to receive your passport. If you get to the United States you may be sent back as your program has since begun.

Please are these true? What's your advice?

Please I need assistance and I will appreciate anyone who can help,I did all necessary things from paying SEVIS paying to paying visa fee and getting all necessary documents,I tried to apply visa on the CGI website after registering and I put my passport information,SEVIS number school and school zipcode,the system keeps telling me my information match the one on record and I can’t recognize the email address of the account…..I don’t know what I can do as I’m unable to book my interview appointment and I’m really worried.I will appreciate any suggestion of what might be wrong or any contact I can call
