My dear, please obey the doctor's order for bed rest. It's better to be safe than sorry after all you are almost there. Yes, cervical incompetence is 2nd trimester wahala but you can't just ignore it. Get another ultrasound scan done at another clinic for the benefit of doubt.
I learnt about cervical incompetence with the loss of my son @ 18 weeks 17/04. It's a bitter experience.
I hereby withdraw from race until further notice cc @ September teamies. Can't go back to previous posts for my teamies monikers but to you that is always checking on me, I am most grateful. Wishing you all a healthy pregnancy and safest delivery at the right time.
Hoping to come back soonest again.

Sorry for ur loss dear, please in your next pregnancy, tell or ask the Dr abt ceclage, it helps a lot. My first pregnancy, I had one, this second one, I had one done too.

Good morning all, I hope we are all doing good. I have been following this topic during my first pregnancy and it really helped me a lot. It's me, Ugly Betty from 2016, don't know if we still have team mates (TEAM AUGUST/SEPTEMBER )in this group. This is my second missionary journey, I forgot my password and had to open another moniker.

Biko, team mates, where are you. Am in my 32 weeks and thank God for the journey so far. It has been God all through. MUMMY zainye, mummy ekene and others, I hope una still dey.

May God guide and protect us in this Journey of 9 months so that we will carry our little ones. Mummy alive, Baby alive , daddy alive and plenty money. Amen. TGIF.

Abeg, i don come now make i update una. Im now 33weeks+ and my edd is now may28th. Pls i need advice frm experienced mamas::
1. My last scan few days ago revealed dt i av cervical incompetence, my cervix is presently avin little opening so d Doc suggested dt i must b on bed rest till i put to bed. Pls has any1 experienced ds b4?
2. Abeg i need a list of ESSENTIAL baby items. Av nt bought any baby things @al and im already 33wks gone. Thank u

Good morning dear, congrats on getting to 33 weeks, it is not easy. For your first question on Cervical Incompetence, you have to follow your dr advise on bed rest because it is a risky one. If they had noticed earlier in the pregnancy, they would have done cervical ceclage for you. (Don't knw if that is the spelling) it just means tying of the cervix to prevent miscarriage and early birth or preterm. Please be careful, this one you have not bought your baby things. I know of a lady that gave birth at 30 weeks because of cervical incompetence. Please make sure in your next pregnancy to mention it to the Dr handling you so he will tell you about the ceclage.
