nixt: I sense danger ahead: if apc led government didn't follow what is in the constitution(federal character) but insist on LGAs. If next government comes there is possiblility they would cancel the police recruitment because it didn't follow the right channel like they did with the immigration. Hmmmmm.... I mean inspectors downward lol won't happen....it means they will retrench all the constables....what will now happen to all the billions govt spent in training them.....the immigration own is different because they hadn't even gone far....I think they had only done exams when Buhari stopped the whole process so don't worry urself |

Africanblack: To be frank, I think we all should get busy with something else! I took my time to read through the recruitment thread of Police ICT specialist which started in 2011 and ended in 2013! Those guys took enough chill pill, encouraged themselves, and took their minds off it. It could be frustrating to continue wait on PSC who handles the process at its own pace and at the end of the day lose focus on some important goals of life. However, I believe what will be will be! it was captured in this year's budget so the recruitment will finish this year sir |

slimbj: All successfully selected candidates can't go to the next phase ( whatever it is) together at once. Logically, maybe constables last as evidenced by the two previous stages. The most important part has been done. The running has been moved to the training schools. The verbal interview if there will be any will be only for the general duty officers but think about this will the service commission be willing to run full medicals for everybody that has passed the last stage? Or will it be only for candidates that they have selected? They can't drop 20000 names and run medicals for evrybody. The medicals will be done in camp. People with medical issues will head home others continue their training . This is my honest and innocent understanding of this delayed recruitment. Be calm. yh...been thinking about it too.even the military runs medical for around 500 people so expecting police to do it for 20k and above may be difficult....it's difficult to decipher their thought process but let's see what happens....it's just annoying because this recruitment process started in April or there about....it has taken too long |
