Chief, from the newspaper advert, it was stated that : training kits (shirts, shorts, socks, converse, even bedsheets) will be graciously provided to us by the FG.
So no need for unnecessary luggage.

For those asking about the remaining 1,500 space left by PSC since the recruitment is for 10,000 people, here is the break down of the names shortlisted in all the Cadres.


For clarity sake about 8,300 names have been released under Police Constable, more than 500 names under ASP with 106 names for reserve while Inspector Cadre has more than 500 names and 106 reserves.

There are more than 600 names under Specialists ASP and Inspectors. ( with some to undergo interview)

In total we have 10,600 names selected and more than 200 names placed on reserve

I hope everybody is cleared now.

That list cant be tampered with, it has gone viral already. the only thing that will happen is that some few candidate will still join the already successful ones in police colleges through letters/signals from PSC to the commandant of the various colleges mandating them to accept those VIP candidate. On the fairness of the recruitment it was purely based on merit(though most people did well but all cant be taking due to the number they need) at PSC Abuja level the only place some form of irregularities was inculcated was at the state level after the exams before the physical/certificate screening of the specialist, the exams question were marked at various state level including fct then some people score was tampered with, though the result were re-cross checked at PSC hq where some of those illegal scores was fish out. On a personal basis i didnt give anybody money nor plead for assistance to any top nor low level politician, the two people that sat on my left and right our name jointly came out and we know what we wrote, the greatest thanks is to God that made my state coordinator not to tamper with the initial scores. I will advice the fg to merge all federal recruitment to a portal that will make it impossible for once to be recruited into two or more fg job at same time, some npower candidate succeeded at police and dssc while there are people that couldnt succeed in just one. I bet you not everybody on that list will report to camp from there the VIPs will fill it with their people, some people name even appear twice, those are the lopholes i pray government should deal with

Hmmn so it's true some people got the job through long legs? I thought everybody that saw their names got it on merit because for instance in the FCT list, those names that came out corresponded with the names that took the test and underwent the vigorous screening exercises.

I tried to keep mute but, for the hopeless, there may still be hope..
1. The shortlisted names are names from top politicians - CONFIRMED
2. The names were released under serious pressure and some top politicians are stil missing names on the list, the war is still on but the pressure has reduced - CONFIRMED
3. Apptitude test scores from all states were flawed. Most of the names didn't even pass physical screening, they just showed up different from what was initially sent to PSC - CONFIRMED
4. Who gets to camp is determined by who gets the message and not the shortlisted names from the suspended website - CONFIRMED
5. If you found your name on that list, I suggest u go back to the mapping table or else, you jst got dumped in OYO (On Your Own) state, because Mike Okiro determines who and who gets to that camp - CONFIRMED.
6. Whether by backdoor, frontdoor, kitchendoor, the other-room door or even bathroom door, I most enter that camp by God's grace - CONFIRMED

Bros! Things are already happening! The remaining 1500 slots are being inserted. If care is not taken, that list may not show up on PSC's website again, rather people will just be receiving mails/invites to training when the time comes.

Ladies and gentlemen News reaching us from Abuja just confirmed PSC website was hacked and list hijacked.... so a new comprehensive list will be provided and pasted on or before sunday night incase u saw your name like me on the list bros u jist need to start proper prayers .....For those that r still on the queue you have a better chance the old list was ....ion

So finally the list is out, I must confess psc really disappointed. I'm not sure psc followed federal character or even local govts by local govt in the recruitment of asps. It is unfair to most local govts / districts and I'm sure some local govts produced more than one slot if not they would have listed each LGA alongsides the names.

seconded NPF have all the branches of all other forces in them eg the police airwing since you love airforce so much, the marine police which operate in rivers, the ever gallant mopols, ctu, sars which operate in trouble regions just like army, then you talk of investigation, police force is an allrounder whatever suite you the police force got it
