In trading you really need maximum concentration and discipline, today i blowed my account of $534 trading the news, I went opposite direction with 9 positions, I went mad after that, while taking my bath I realized the mistake i made on USDJPY. I would have made $1200 from that market, I just learnt trading the news (cpi) two weeks ago. I felt like giving up, this life everything you worked for can be lost under few minutes. All my analysis, all the fuel i burn, skipping meal sometimes all gone because of just a silly mistake. I have $100 left. I’m just crazy right now after converting my lost to naira, I can’t say this to someone i know physically, just have to pour it out here.

Really sorry about that first, and also I don't advice people to trade news like NFP, CPI it not advice able, and opening nine position at same time that gambling man, I would say if you still want to continue trading, don't trade tomorrow wait still on Monday, am use to speaking in private that if you are interested I can add you up to my WhatsApp group but wish you luck

You rely too much on indicators, All indicators Lag behind price

Price itself is king

I don't analyze with indicator I just use it for confirmation on my real system which is if dollar falls gold rise and vise versa, and I have a 95% win rate.

Am aware indicator are lagging cause my mentor told me that but I just use it for confirmation as I said earlier, and am profitable 100%.

And also time which is a very crucial part of my system.

Definitely. Like I said, everything is just assumptions. Price will go wherever it wants to go and render analysis useless sometimes if not most times.

Yeah we are just observer's of the market,
But while I said price might not have any further retracement is because DXY 30 min RSI was around 52, 30 min before London session open meaning we still have a further downside on the dollar index while gold was sitting around 60 before London open meaning we still have further upside.

Buying gold now looks too early, the past 8 one hour candles have all bought, I think there will be some little retracement at least before continuation if price decides to eventually buy.
The price has hit an H1 resistance and started selling as expected judging by the massive rally up to the zone.

But we are speculators, our opinions doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, as price will go whichever way, whenever it feels like. Just hoping you could see from another angle.

That H4 support is where I will gladly be waiting, no really visible zone to wait on the M15 or M30 timeframes.

Yeah, entered a buy position around 2380, price might not have any further retracement, but let see what will happen

I truly dig the guy's quality over quantity trades. Furthermore, that write-up now made me believe, 99%, that FTMO know what they're doing when it comes to prop firm business.

Yeah, it actually helps because if you take one trade per day it keeps you focused but doing multiple divides your fucus causing you stress.

And when you loss on one instrument you are trying to get it back on another which you don't know if you will win or lose

A disciplined trader is one who knows how to handle stress, and knows when to leave the charts.

Like me I take one trade per day am ok with that even if it a loss or a win, if you are able to discipline yourself outside the charts, then you can do it on the charts.

Who says so I use 20 pips sl sometimes on gold and get 3rr even on nasdaq so it's possible in a long run

I see people here analyzing news which totally I don't understand you can't analyze news just wait for the news to drop.

Alright I have a strategy I can share it has high rr multiple if you don't mind, I use it to trade Bitcoin mostly at least you are sure of 3 to 7 rr
