I was thinking the game is still in development for next gen release. They did the same with ps3 and ps4. And this seems to be another call of duty modern warfare again.

PS5 and XBox 2 doesn't seem like they have the likelihood of coming out this year and the game is coming out this year... So, it's obviously not for them

My system plays FIFA 18 very well with the specs amd FX 7500 10 compute core 2.1ghz 8 gig ram with crimson version amd R7 graphics 1gig vram that means pes 19 can work on it

Yea, that's another good way to do it. I was talking based on Arnold, as it's the default render engine that comes with Maya from 2017.
I don't know if keyshot is a cpu or gpu based render engine. You could tell him more about your pipeline as another option. I've only used MR and Arnold and a glimpse at VRay

Yea, that would work, you still face the risk of heat dissemination though but, yea, a core i7 laptop would do the work. Just don't overwork it. It's from experience. Maya rendering roasted my laptop

If you wanna take it seriously, even as a hobby, a core i7 desktop would be preferable.
Laptops tend to get hot while rendering and sometimes might damage the board.
Your planned laptop isn't bad, per se. It would take you through very basic low poly models and rendering of very few characters, few materials in a very basic environment. Core i5 7th and 8th gen would be great but, risky on a laptop.

Can the laptop be used, yes. Can you get quality models with smooth interface previews, No.
All your works will be basic. But, here's good news. If Minecraft can be so popular, you could make a good impression no matter how basic or low poly your characters look by being creative.

I am almost done saving for a laptop with Nvidia gtx 940, 2gig dedicated ram, 8gig ram, Intel core i5 laptop, would this be enough? Or I'd need an upgrade few months after using it? That should get you through most 3D task at this level. You would not need to upgrade few months after but, you would definitely need an upgrade as you move up the complex scale.
Maya comes with Arnold now which uses CPU to render so the most important things should be ram and CPU. Gpu isn't a top priority at this level unless you play games with it.

You're good for now. I know someone who does modeling with a laptop that is as good as 3 on a scale of 1 to 10 where the one you mentioned is on 8

About time someone did something about these damn pay-to-win tactics gaming company use to exploit people.
I wish loot boxes would be banned generally for everyone. I wouldn't understand why a gaming company would make their money from game sales and still continue to make money off people with stupid aesthetics until the game servers get teared down.

Unfortunately, my Naija gamers we are so irrelevant in this race that if our governement pass that kind of bill, the gaming companies will ban Nigeria from playing any game altogether... Lol
