(Pictures) We’ve heard lots of helicopter gunships being referred to in the ongoing fighting in northern Nigeria As usual, many are being described as “military” helicopters and many are being referred to as “Militant Boko Haram” helicopters This time though, there is a bit of confusion as to whether one organization or another is using the heli gunships Below, we examine five of the helicopters flying over the recent fighting and some video of them in action It may be none of these helicopters, it may be all of them, it may be one or two or more, it may be the one, two, or three that we’ve been told by one of the helicopter manufacturers in Australia that we now know a thing or two about
