baba leaving messi in the box is like waste of time.. Nigga ain't gonna see a single goal..someone who loses penalties regularly.. You think sitting in the box is as easy as you just mentioned it.. If I put messi in the box as a coach, all the crosses into the box would be waisted... This means he can't cope very well as a striker..
Lmao what a novice this grin
See, pep guardiola once played Messi as a single striker in barcelona, get that in your brain. Why do you think ibrahimovic left barca? Pep played Messi as a lone striker (Box) while playing Ibrahimovic (who is a natural striker) in wing, reason he left. Mind you, Messi still had more goals than Ronaldo in that season lol. Messi can play any attacking position on the pitch. CF, WF, AM, etc

charlesm91:
zlatan doesn’t have the numbers, trophies, career and records those two have so no way his name will be brought up despite the fact he’s won the league. I could say same for Coman in Bayern and Vidal in italy-they win wherever they go. Messi/Ronaldo are adjudged to be the best players in the world so the best way to rank them is to find what differentiates them uniquely. While Messi is brilliant and have no problem with people who chose him as the best, but repetitive becomes specialization and that’s what he is in Spain. No matter the setup, coaches and behind the scenes, he’s already specialized in the art of la liga having spent over 12 years playing there.
Ronaldo on the other hand by virtue of how his own career kicked off took a different approach. It’s easy to say he went to world class clubs, but we’ve seen world class players go to top clubs and flop or fail to live up to the desired expectations as a result of unexpected variables, Hazard being the latest example. Madrid was ridiculed in Europe when Ronaldo arrived despite the fact that Manutd at that time was the better team and had to wait 4 years to win ucl, he worked his way up the ranks at Manutd and decided to freestyle in Italy.
This is not to say should Messi move away from Barca he won’t succeed. Statistically he should, but statistics is merely hypothesis and there’s a scenario he fails too. His time with the Argentinian team also provides an alternate view. So in the end, all we have about Messi’s ability outside of Spain is just guesses. Also he’s scored more goals against epl team than people who played in epl isn’t an accurate judgement. There’s a difference playing with Barcelona against a team in England and playing against English team in an English based club. The adaptation, training methods, scheduling, etc. like i said before it’s not a given that Messi can’t do it. It’s highly possible he can.
So did Ronaldo fail in his goal in Italy? Perhaps so. Cos we expected more from him in the ucl given his past heroics, (at least he never did promise publicly to bring ucl to turin grin he merely promised to challenge giving his best). But on an individual level, he was successful.
Personally i feel Ronaldo should leave except he wants to see out his contract, he’s done well given the squad Juve has. Juve is in the process of rebuilding and a 36yr old Ronaldo shouldn’t be a part of that. Let me just try and enjoy football wherever he can by winning now rather than later.
I feel at the end Ronaldo will sit back and look at his career and be much more fulfilled given the collection and variety of trophies and records he achieved. And unless Messi wins at least a copa with Argentina, that stigma will always go with him and fans will have a life long task of defending him.
P.S. Messi is great but i prefer CR7. There’s no point arguing over
Trash, imo cr7 is great, but Messi is FAR better.
Ive always wondered why cr7 always had to join the biggest teams in every league he played in. Anyone can join any big teams in any league and win titles, reason I believe he should've joined chelsea or Liverpool in epl and not man utd who had been dominating for years, if he really wanted to prove something. Perhaps joining a teams like atletico Madrid to help em displace teams like real Madrid who were dominating Europe and Laliga would've been better, than joining real. Why did cr7 join Juventus if I may ask? They've been winning the league for 9years in a row, coupled with the coppa italia. The MAIN reason Juve signed him was to help em win the UCL as they probably saw him as one who performed magic, as per he's won the UCL 3 times in a row with Madrid. They didn't know that real were just the best when it comes to UCL, and we're able to win it everything by teams efforts and not just by one player. I reckon they've won the UCL 4 timez in a row once before cr7 arrived.
I must say cr7 pretty much failed in the task given to him when he thought he could come to Juve and repeat what he and his team mates had been doing in real.
Cr7 after joining Juve said "After I won what I won at real Madrid, I've come here to continue winning. Juventus will win the UCL withing the next two years".
Proud fûčk. Yall were the ones saying cr7 would win every game even if he's given 10piece of woods as team mates. Now it's pretty much clear that he can't do shit if he isn't surrounded by stars like he was in real Madrid and man utd.
I don't and will never see how someone who sits in the box waiting for crosses and passes is better than someone who supplies passes, creates chances, dribbles, play make, and score all at a time. The fact that Messi is able to do these things and still has more assists and goals in terms of goal ratio than cr7 should speak volumes.
Stop the crap about Messi in Argentina.
Messi carried his national team to the world cup final and shouldve won it if higuain and the Likes were a bit more clinical. Won every individual award there is to win in the national team.
See, cr7 may have won a league title with his national team, but the fact that he wasn't given the best player of the competition should prove that he contributed just as much as the average player in his team. Get that right.
Messi will always be the best for me no matter what. I believe he's the best since he doesn't and will never sit in the box waiting to be fed in other to score and take all the glories and self praises. Hes always everywhrre on the pitch plsymsking. Despite this, he still has as many goals and more golden boots than someone who stays in the box all day, is simply outta this world for me. I believe it's more fun to watch Messi than it is to watch the other. Maybe that's why he's won more individual trophies than Ronaldo. He has as many records and cr7 if not even more. He's younger too.
So friend, cr7 being the one you prefer should simply stick to you only.

Pretty much trash imo. Should've joined Inter or AC Milan in italyto to help them cling the title from Juve whose been winning it for 9yrs in a row. Or shoulve joined Liverpool or Chelsea to help em cling the title from man utd, who've been winning it back to backs. Maybe he should've joined atletico in Spain. I wouldn't be surprised if he joined psg or bayern tomorrow, since Your rapist has this thing for joining league giants in every league he chooses to go. That isn't challenge imo. Btw I heard your rapist said he would help Juve to win the UCL they signed him for. Let's hope he doesn't leave without fulfilling his promise

SportsBREAKING! Guardiola: Messi Is 'strongest Of All' by Luigi03(op): 10:02am On May 25, 2021
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has restated his admiration for Lionel Messi, as speculation concerning a potential reunion for the pair at Etihad Stadium continues to mount.

The Barcelona star has long been tipped as a potential signing for Guardiola, who knows the Argentine well from their time together at Camp Nou.

Messi is still yet to confirm his future at Barca, although the club retains hope he will not leave this summer.

What was said?
"He's very strong, the strongest. Beyond his quality, it's his mentality, his head," Guardiola said of Messi in a Twitch interview alongside former Italy stars Christian Vieri, Antonio Cassano and Daniele Adani.

"In four years at Barcelona, we played a lot of games in training and he didn't lose even one. If he had lost, he would've left. He has that competitive mentality that only four or five players in history have, they have something different.

"We all knew that Messi was the best, but then there were six or seven others who were strong and others who didn't play because the others were so strong."

The bigger picture
While Messi's desire to leave Camp Nou last summer in the wake of his side's 8-2 Champions League thrashing to Bayern Munich was denied, he has made few sounds about what he will do from June onwards.

In a recent interview with Argentine newspaper Ole he praised the young Barca squad and dubbed the Copa del Rey victory this season a "turning point", while stating his intention to win more titles - although he did not specify where.

Should he decide to leave City appears a natural alternative for the 33-year-old, due to his relationship with Guardiola and the club's capacity to meet his astronomic wages.

Coach Ronald Koeman hopes he will remain at Camp Nou.

"Hopefully he will continue here for many years," Koeman told reporters when asked if Messi will still be there next season. "He is a unique player. He is a 10 as a professional. If he does not stay, Barca will have to train other players and seek effectiveness in other footballers.

"Leo has scored 30 goals this season, with him the team has come much further."

PoliticsTerror-tainted Pantami Insists His SIM-NIN, IMEI, Other Policies Growing Nigeria by Luigi03(op): 7:32am On May 25, 2021
The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, has expressed delight at the 6.47 per cent contribution by the ICT sector to the nation’s Gross Domestic Product in the first quarter of 2021, insisting his policies are responsible for the growth.

Mr Pantami expressed this in a statement issued by Femi Adeluyi, IT Technical Assistant to the Minister in Abuja.

According to Mr Pantami, the National Bureau of Statistics Q1 report said Nigeria’s GDP grew by 0.51 per cent (year-on-year) in real terms in the first quarter of 2021.

The minister attributed the consistent positive performance of the ICT sector to the focused and committed support for the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari for the digital economy sector.

He explained, “The federal government has provided an enabling environment for the ICT sector to thrive through the development and implementation of relevant policies.

“These include the National Digital Economy Policy for a Digital Nigeria, Nigerian National Broadband Plan and the Revised National Digital Identity Policy for SIM Card Registration, amongst others.”

Mr Pantami recently began moves to obtain Nigerians’ mobile phone identification protocols from telecom networks, a move that could further expose citizens to the state’s concerted efforts to track and monitor phone users, especially political opposition and critics.

But he insisted in the statement that “the GDP report has shown that the ICT sector continues to serve as a catalyst for the growth and diversification of our economy.”

Mr Pantami has a sordid past replete with murderous intentions, extremist views, and avowed support for the Taliban and Al-Qaeda.

He said this marked two consecutive quarters of growth following the negative growth rates recorded in the second and third quarters of 2020.

“In terms of contribution to aggregate GDP, the oil sector accounted for 9.25 per cent of aggregate real GDP in Q1 2021, while the non-oil sector accounted for 90.75 per cent.

“Growth in the non-oil sector was driven mainly by the information and communication, telecommunication sector, while other drivers include agriculture, manufacturing of food, beverage, and real estate.

“Others are construction, human health, and social services, and it is worthy of note that the ICT sector grew by 6.47 per cent in Q1 2021, making it the fastest-growing significant sector of the Nigerian economy,” explained the minister.

Other areas that grew the economy were post and courier services which grew by 2.53 per cent, while it was noted that the services were under the supervision of the communications and digital economy ministry, however, listed under the transportation sector in the GDP report.

The ICT sector had in 2020 contributed 17.83 per cent to the nation’s economy.

ARE YOU A BIAFRAN?

Those who arrested and sentenced Isaac Adaka Boro to death for declaring Niger Delta Republic were neither Hausa-Fulanis nor Yorubas but two supposed brothers of his and Biafrans named Odumegwu Ojukwu and Aguiyi Ironsi who were still on the side of Gambaris and still trying to please them as at then. For declaring Niger-Delta Republic Ironsi, the then military head of state, ordered Ojukwu to get Isaac Boro arrested for treason.

Ojukwu, in an attempt to please Gambaris, fought Isaac Boro for 12 days within which he used federal might of “one-Nigeria” to kill 150 soldiers loyal to Isaac Boro, caught Isaac Boro, stripped him naked and sent him over to Lagos where Ironsi charged him to court and within just 2 months got him convicted, at the Supreme Court, of treasonable felony of trying to break away from Azikiwe’s one Nigeria, got him sentenced to death by hanging. While Ironsi and Ojukwu did all that to Isaac Boro, they left untouched their own Igbo brother soldiers who planned a coup with which they killed Innocent Hausas, Yorubas, Niger Deltans, Middle belters leaving Igbo politicians unharmed despite they, like Zik and Okpara, were part and parcel of the corrupt Balewa government.

However, before Ojukwu and Ironsi could execute their sentence on Isaac Boro God intervened and the counter coup happened. Ironsi was overthrown and killed. Gowon took over declared Isaac Boro innocent and released him. But just fifteen months later Ojukwu too declared Biafra Republic due to the way Igbos were being killed in the North. In declaring Biafra, rather than first apologise to Isaac Boro for what he earlier did to him and then ask for his cooperation in fighting to realize the Biafra dream, Ojukwu did nothing like that but without consulting Boro at all went as far as arrogantly including in his Biafra map the very Niger Delta areas which Isaac Boro earlier tried to pull out of Nigeria and which he (Ojukwu) nearly killed him for.

This angered Isaac Boro and Ken Saro Wiwa who both pledged support for Gowon in order to teach Ojukwu a bitter lesson for his arrogance and dishonesty. That was why Isaac Boro and Saro Wiwa fought on the side of Gowon during the war. Naturally Isaac Boro couldn’t have come out of prison to join the Ojukwu who jailed him and fight against the Gowon who released him. It would have been absurd. No rational human being does that.

This is the truth of what happened and which Igbos hate to hear but prefer to blame everyone else as if they themselves were 100℅ innocent.

Igbos must learn to say the truth because if the Biafra/Niger Delta Republic they now seek is founded on lies and deliberate falsehood, like Nigeria, it will not stand but will soon become a failed state like Nigeria. We can’t leave Nigeria for another Nigeria.

But we however know that Igbos allergy to truth is incurable, therefore Niger-Delta states will never be part of Biafra
Ipobs aren't even denying it, which means it's true. I'm from south south and this post just got me really angry. If Ipobs really did try to kill someone who was trying to break SS out of the zoo, then I'm afraid my support for em all ends here. F**king hypocrites undecided

Bro I'm a SS, but this your submission is lame.

If you are attacking Igbos because you don't want Biafra, they tell the Government to de-annex Igbos added to some SS states or you think Igbos will leave their brothers for us in SS and go?

You must be dreaming of that's your thought. You don't want to be annexed to Igbos but you want their SE brothers annexed to you to remain?
Their "Brothers" that are in South South are free to relocate to South East, no one is holding them back. Just don't include SS states in the Biafran map undecided
