But guys, what happens when the guy wants to get married? He doesnt even know his fathers home town, only his mother? The guy is worried and still insist he is not changing his surname and place of origin. |
@toyo c - what do u mean dat only ' bastards' do this. Mind you the father recognise the guy as his son. He accepts the boy as his son, but no support from him. Even the guy visits him once in a while. The only issue is dat the father does not know dat he has a brillant son and son does not even knows what he likes. They world apart, just answering dad and son. So explain what u meant in your post |

Hello nairalanders, thank your advice on my last post. A friend of mine needs your advice. My friend told me dat, his father abandon him and his mother when he was a year old. The mother took sole responsibility of him, till university level. He got to find out that the mother had changed his name, so he bears his mother maiden name. The father is from Imo while the mother is from Akwa ibom. This makes him from Akwa ibom, also he can only understand ibibio. According to him, when he gain admission to university he went to see his dad for support but he rendered no help now he is a graduate and all his certificate carrys his mother's maiden name. He said he does not want to change his name since his international passport carrys dis name, he asked anything wrong as he is about to get married. Fathers and mothers your adice is needed! |
Some Ladies are funny, dont marry a broke man!!! Only women dat have foresight can identify a potential husband. Some guys have dis money and will never respect thier lady even t the extent of dating severals ladies including her friends. Is relationship all about money? Finance is needed, fine, but ladies must understand that life is all about season, a man dat does not have today will surely have tomoro. My advise to the ladies, please follow a man that have the fear of God, respect you and have a vision, ask him what do u want to achieve in live, the u can take a good decision. Hence if u r waiting for the rich guy b4 u marry, you fit wait till menopuse oh, so wise up after all the bible says two r better than one. If you love him seek opportunity for him and both of you will enjoy the reward! |
A friend of mind is in this situation. The father is an ibo man and the mother from akwa ibom. According to him, the father abandon him and the mother when he was a yr old. The mother took sole resposibility of the boy till he graduated from university, unknown to the boy, the mother had change his name and gave him a new name bearing her surname up till this moment although the boy now knows his father. He asked me does it have any effect on him cos all his documents bears the mother surname making him from Akwa ibom instead of Imo state. Pls what advice would u give him! |

Hi house, please am losing my mind, i need advice. I am a man of 32yrs a graduate with a 2:1. I have been in a relationship with a lady for more than 3yrs and we are suppose to be talking about marriage. The problem is dat i dont have a job and am still living with my family. Recently i met a lady in my church and we are friends, i told her am looking for a job and she asked me to give her my CV, which i did. Later i got a mail from a multinational company asking me to write an online test, which i wrote and passed, i was called for face to face interview, i went. I was suprised to find out that she was the HR. She told me dat i did well at the test and will be offered a letter of appointment but one the condition dat i will have to marry her dat she really admire me and my intelligence. The issue is dat i need the job desperately cos am not happy with my state, also i can not just forgo my relationship of 3yrs though my GF has been complaining dat i dont take care of her and i love her. What can you advice me, take the job and date the Hr or forget the job and stay with my GF! |
