3 mentally unstable patients have been in a centre for over a year and the consultant want to assess their sanity level . He drew a door on the wall and asked them to open the door. Two out of three stood up and started struggling with the drawn door knob over two hours while the remaining one just sat down looking at them. The consultant thought he was getting better, so he asked him why he didn't join them, he laughed and said he's the one with the key that the other two are insane that how can they open a door without key and will open it when they are tired of struggling with the door.
The consultant just started laughing and exited the building shaking his head..

Lagos State governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, on Wednesday, approved the appointment of Professor Olanrewaju Adigun Fagbohun as the vice chancellor of the Lagos State University (LASU).

Professor Fagbohun, a Professor of Environmental Law, was until his appointment Director of Research at the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, University of Lagos.

The appointment was contained in a statement signed on Wednesday by the state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Steve Ayorinde.

According to the statement, following the expiration of the tenure of Professor John Oladapo Obafunwa as the vice chancellor of Lagos State University on 31st October, 2015, the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration), Professor Fidelis Olisamedua Njokanma, assumed the position of acting vice chancellor.

A Professor of Environmental Law, Olanrewaju Adigun Fagbohun was born on 19th October, 1966 and hails from Akesan in the Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State.

Professor Fagbohun joined the Faculty of Law of the Lagos State University (LASU) as an Assistant Lecturer in January 1991. He rose through the ranks and by 2004, he was appointed Associate Professor.

He studied Law at the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University). He obtained his Master of Law Degree at the University of Lagos and attended the Obafemi Awolowo University for his doctoral degree programme.

At different times, he served as a member of Senate of the Lagos State University; Head of Department of Business Law and later Department of Private and Property Law; Coordinator, Law Centre; Coordinator of the Department of Environmental Law and Allied Disciplines of the Centre for Environment and Science Education of the Lagos State University, and was, for several years, the Editor-in-Chief of the LASU Law Journal.

Professor Fagbohun is a member of several academic and professional bodies and a fellow of a number of national and international institutions.

if lying wasn't invented, how is it going to affect you ? What will you miss doing ? What lie will you miss telling ?...

I am just wondering if lie wasn't invented, how is the world going to look like ?.
You know the bad guys and the good guys. No one is going to scam you ,
People will be boring tho, Lawyers will be out of job, cheating will be minimised, security agents will be more successful,
Religious bodies will not be as rich as it is.
No bribery, No scandal, students will be rusticated when caught cheating , No extortion of any kind.. The list goes on.

Lasu should not see strike for a long time with this development. Great initiative by the governor.. I just hope they will be fast with the construction of the students hostel and pray the students will make it safe to live in.. With all the cult issues that has plagued the school..

Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State, Tuesday, signed a bill into law converting the Lagos State University, LASU, Ojo, to a residential institution, as well as approving 70 years retirement age for professors of the institution. The law, LASU (Amendment) Bill 2015, also approved a five-year single term for the Vice Chancellor of the institution.
Over the last few years, there has been a running battle between the institution’s chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, with the immediate-past Vice Chancellor, Prof. John Obafunwa, over demands that the school approves 70 years as retirement age for professors, single term of five years for Vice Chancellor, among others.
Signing the bill into law at the State House, Ikeja, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria on Tuesday, Ambode said the amended law is aimed at raising the standard of the school to an enviable position and a school that people would be proud of.
The governor said it is the desire of the state government to build a LASU that would produce better students, saying that in the next few days, changes would begin to take place in the school.

Sitting here thinking of all the things I planned doing for year 2015 but failed to execute. planned to be a very Godly person, to develop like 5 skills but ended up with just 3, to end up with a new Bae, to be 100% focus on my academics, to not lose any close friend , to make everyone around me happy , to quit reading sexuality stories here on NL, To pass all of my incourse exams, to not make any enemy...
I failed in all of these.
I still thank God for all I did..
