Lol, Tecno and Infinix have been providing affordable phones in Nigeria for years now. Tecno mobile understand the African mobile market more than any OEM. I haven't seen the strategy Xiaomi is going to use to be relevant here. Gionee is still struggling, let's wait and see

One thing you all are missing is,

1. these phones are not selling in Nigeria--you will have to take care of shipping cost and in some cases, custom charges
2. you do not enjoy any after sales service once you buy them--you are on your own
3. These brands you are mentioning are not tried and tested.

What you should do is ship one of them, do a review and I will trust you more and probably buy one through you. But I will never ship a china phone into Nigeria myself and be on my own if there is a problem. I can through away my 30k or 50k.

Else, I will buy the TECNO Camon C8 if I know I do not have 70k for the Phantom 5.

don't even talk about after sales service cuz the Tecno you talked about couldn't even fix the very popular multitasking problem of the camon c8 abi is that not part of the after sales service?

am not begging Tecno for anything even tho am enjoying the c8 now It is my last Tecno product ...they never shd hav Bleep wit me... why would they made a fone and tweaking to become a Java phone, they made me lament for one and half month I won't forgive tecno.. and they didn't even border giving us a fix.... , I made sure almost all my family members got the GIONEE m3 and gionee m2 well am waiting patiently for for giomee m4 to cone to nigeria then I say a final good bye to the Tecno product

goto official xposed for lollipop page on xda and download xposed sdk 21 for arm64 flash the file through custom recovery then download xposed installer alpha 4... Voila you're done

Rooted... We would need to make a custom rom based on android 5.1.1... The fix i had needs xposed framework to work and xposed framework currently does not support ARM v8 which is what our phone's chipset is based on.

Is it compossary tp run sp flashtool as administrator? Cuz i remember i didn't and could that be tje reason i was unable to root it?

You need vcom drivers installed on your PC

i have it installed... the sp flashtool could detect when i disconnect my phone.

that's not what i meant. I mean if i connect my phone to my pc sp flashtool will not start downloading and if i disconnect my phone i get an error "2005 brom can not start command... "

* Boot the phone into TWRP recovery mode
* In TWRP recovery, tap Install
* Navigate to the location of the SuperSU zip file you downloaded in the first step then flash

Yes as soon as there's root i have a fix for the multitasking problem but it requires root.

I already got fix for the multitasking problem as soon as we got root i will post the procedure on how to fix the multitasking issue.
