It really hit me

I started thinking about my friends

Their responses to my broadcast messages

I'm not surprised, they underrated me, so it was easy to perform more than their expectations


Few days ago, one of my friends messaged me about graphics design

He was asking how do I make my designs, I was just laughing

Something I paid to learn. I told him

Yesterday, he sent me a design, when I saw it, I was really laughing hard

I had to send voice note of 2 minutes +
Just to tell him his mistakes

He just started giving excuse that he did it on his phone, I was like I can design on phone too na

So I sent him two flyers I designed with my phone
He was like, you have improved

The truth is, that's just a normal me, like a normal thing, to me I just did a flyer but to him it was like a perfect thing or a big task

This is because he underestimated me


I do envy those who have best friends, it not just works for me,


This is because when you call every one your friend, you can't have best friend

So normalize addressing people with colleague, deskmate, month mate, etc

This is what I can't do
This is where my issue it
I call everyone my friend

So please, stop it if you are also doing this

You might be thinking of how I will relate this with sales

Well am not doing that today
Just like, you don't have to sell everyday

Try to give free values to your customers

You don't have to keep saying buy buy buy

Your customers need to know you, know what you stand for

And please and please don't ever post sad emoji or crying emoji on your status all in the name of catching cruise

No one want to patronize a sadist or heartbroken person

And you got a message, an sms not whatsapp, greeting you a happy birthday from an unknown number

You decide to call the number, it turns out it was the salesperson who attended to you at the boutique, claiming he/she just want wish you


Now let me ask you this question

On your next clothes shopping, why won't you choose this salesperson to sell to you



Trust me, you might even call him/her before going to the store neglecting the free delivery just for the salesperson to attend to you


If this salesperson start his/her brand, you will be eager to refer lots of people to him, all because of the birthday wish


You know why this is sohuh

It's because all human loves to be pampered

Everyone wants to feel special

Your customers will keep coming to you when you make them feel special

They would be glad to refer you

I know it's hard to keep the dates of your customers' birthdays

It's not only on their birthdays you have greet them

What about festive periods

You might be sending a broadcast message to them but you are not doing it well

Calm your nerves and Read well

Don't type a broadcast message like you are talking to lots of people

Type a broadcast message like you are talking to only one person

This way, they will feel special
