I know the slave masters were bad but she just literally walked into Mereen and took their throne. She started changing their traditions and everything despite the fact that the people were happy with the traditions.

I kind of agree with the sons of Harpy. I loved the part of the scene where the guy she wanted to marry was telling her that she was oppressing them. (I can't remember the details of the conversation)

If she was fighting for the iron throne, I would probably have rooted for her after stannis. She has no business in Mereen.

She's fighting for the iron throne as well and never stopped, she decided to stay back in mereen because she needed to know how it felt like to actually lead so that when she finally sits on the iron throne, she won't feel outta place, besides this decision was borne from the news she got about other cities she'd conquered being rebellious - that wasn't a good antecedents and doesn't speak well of her as a leader, reason why she decided to stay back in mereen after being advised by daario, jorah and selmy of course, she didn't even want to stay to start with, her decision was to go about conquering other cities until she finally sits on the iron throne.

What traditions did she even change or oppressed them about? They wanted to keep being slaves, hanging kids at the entrance of mereen and then wanted the fighting pits open for their own amusements not minding its people's lives? Are these traditions fair?

Don't forget she even had to keep her beloved dragons under lock and key as a result of the havoc they caused and even when daario suggested he gathered the family members and have them butchered, she listened not.

And I don't think she waves her power at anyone, she's just trying to lead, the people of mereen are stubborn people you know.

He wasn't talking her into it, they were both speaking in different context as they conversed. Shireen was just being a child trying to make her dad feel better with her assurances and goodwill being his only heir, they talk like that, she wasn't aware she was going to be sacrificed even more of knowing her dad would allow it...didn't you see how she screamed and asked for her dad on seeing the stake? If she understood what her dad was saying that night she would have cried and begged him her life.

Stannis was just giving his farewell speech right there, more like a father-child love talk before her death.

I know this issue has been overflogged but I needed to say this,

Duty to the seven kingdoms you say? Are the seven kingdoms he's gonna lead if he ever sits on the iron throne not made up of families as well?

This is just the begining of a new stannis you must know, the killing of his daughter will definitely alter his character negatively, if he can do this to his only heir, it can only means he can do far worst.

And with the red witch by him, there is no limit how far long this will continue and in turn change stannis into a monstrous being.

The only annoying thing about episode 9 is daneryes armies.. They were just being slaughtered by common street fighters.

The sons of harpy aren't common street fighters, didnt you see how they fought Barristan selmy and greyworm in the alley? Those guys are far from being common, they even stood their grounds with drogon rather than run.

Skilled fighters the unsullied are, fact! Chopping them off just like we do dogs was meant to make them battle crazy and stronger which it did, but they were greatly outnumbered by the masked guys at the theater. There's no way the few would have won that battle, they didn't see that coming.

If only they knew who they are, they would have wiped them outta merreen.

Brienne is at Winterfell and stannis is on his way there. Remember they have beef.

Also, from the episode preview, there is going to be a battle at Winterfell. And we all know how orgasmic GOT battles are. I wish next episode could be 2 hours.

It is rumoured that episode 10 will break the internet.

Brienne, been waiting to see her storm winterfell for sansa's sake and if she does that at the same time with stannis, haha battle def gonna be epic with ramsey also in it.

Now am seriously looking forward to ep10.

I don't know what Melisandre's motive is but does she really have one? There has been no hint in the show so far.

She definitely got motive(s), having everyone by her religion could be one. We shall know in due time.
