Hello everyone. Please has anyone who gave birth in 2020 been able to renew their visa since 2024/ 2025? The VO's keep talking about the birth tourism ban in 2020 and had an issue with the 4mths stay and refused to renew the visa now even though birth was declared during the past interview and at cbp and full payment was made. Does this mean the visa will never be renewed since the fact still remains the lady had a baby in 2020. What will need to change to get a visa approval? Anyone overcome this situation before?

@stargazer17 I also got an email from them two days ago, and was able to schedule an appointment yesterday, submitted in November , have you gone for the interview , has anyone gone for 221g interview this year pls ?

I am in this situation pls.
Did Dropbox and got a 221g email few days ago
No message sent regarding my passport pickup and not been able to reschedule appointment to attend the 221g interview through ‘reschedule’ on AVITS.

Please have you been able to pick up your passport while waiting to attend your 221g interview ?

Also, please how were you able to get an appointment through the ‘reschedule’ using the same visa fee you initially paid?

Anyone who has scaled through this phase, please help 🙏🙏
@niksie passport says ready for pick up this morning, I couldn’t reschedule before then created a ticket on Avits, they replied that the reschedule’ll pop up soon , waited a few hours logged in again then rescheduled for Abuja because that was what was available, the next morning I checked and saw lagos so I changed it

Initial IW application- Aug 28th
Multiple emails, passport not at OIS after multiple visits, no communication from embassy. If anyone has any suggestions, I’m getting worried here.

I’ve been there more than 6 times , infact I just left there , I don’t why they are holding on to the passport

POE Alert for yesterday via JFK airport- New York.

I want to share a POE alert for my third missionary journey. I had previous trips in 2015 and 2018. My first visa was obtained at 32 weeks for birthing/medical purposes. I am currently a UK resident, and my last visa was renewed in the UK via dropbox. I flew with Icelandair at 36 weeks and requested wheelchair service.

Upon arrival, I was wheeled towards CBP, who was smiling.

CBP: "Passport, please."
Me: "Handed it over."
CBP: "Please look at the camera."
Me: "Did as instructed."
CBP: "Mrs. Bleep, you are visiting family?"
Me: "Yes, I'm visiting family for holiday and medical reasons, everything..."
CBP: "Continues smiling (not sure he heard all I said)."
CBP: "Do you have the address you are going to?"
Me: "Yes, I provided the address."
CBP: "Stamps passport and hands it back to me."
Me: "Have a nice day/night."
CBP: "You too."
Me: "I picked up my luggage and joined my family, who were already waiting."
I am en route to El Paso, Texas, by the weekend.
