welf99:thanks for your response. firstly, I don't ever leave money on my salary account because its a current account, I have two other savings account that I run which I save on, two days to the day of submission, I printed the statements of all my accounts but a colleague in the office said I do not need that and that all I need do was to transfer to my salary account cos all they need is an affirmation that I have a steady job. that was why I transfered to my salary account and printed. I never reasoned along your line until now and I feel the need to prove my point because this now means more than a denial. please I'll like to be guided, should I print all the statements of the accounts I have without moving any money? what are the processes of an appeal. thanks for your very important points and I anticipate your response. |
gentleking90:Thanks, yes I applied in Lagos. But if I have to pay again, whats the point of telling me to apply again withing 10 working days? certainly, this people don't confirm account statements... I'll just look for another country to spend my annual leave rather than paying again for embassy that doesn't check statements thoroughly. It would have been understandable if it was denied based on other grounds. I really appreciate your response. |
please, I applied for a short visa and was refused, reason being transaction on statement not credible. this is my salary account which I've been working for over 7 years. salary is over 130k per month and its a government job. I made a transfer of 450k on the day I printed it to show I have money there cos I usually don't keep money there, once salary comes, I withdraw it. now I'm asked to reapply withing 10 days. my question, am I going to pay for visa and processing fee all over again withing this 10 days? will I need to attach all documents again? quick response will be appreciated. |
VO: Good morning me: good morning vo: where are you going in America me: Atlanta Georgia to visit my sister vo: I see you are on uniform, what level are you in the civil service me: Level 9 vo: have you ever travelled out of Nigeria before? me: Yes I've been to Ghana with my family on vacation vo: I see you went to University of Ibadan... me: yes I had my masters here vo: what year did you finish me: 2013 vo: Are you married? me: yes I am with a daughter vo: I'm sorry you do not qualify to be granted visa at this time, please you can try again later. This happened today 13th...to be candid someone filled the form for me and it was this morning I got the print out only to discover that some of the information filled were not correct but I told them the truth though different from what the person Imputed. Example, my MSc graduation year was 2013 but the person wrote 2012, secondly I studied psychology but the person put sociology. my question is, by the time I'm reapplying this time next year, I would have read all the pages in this topic and I'll sure fill it myself, would it be right to make the corrections on the new application having it in mind that its different from the one they have on their data base? I appreciate the good people on this forum may God continually bless you all. |

This is long overdue, I hope in the nearest future, someone working in Lagos would be able to comfortably leave his house in Oshogbo and get to work in good time like its been done in some places in the world thereby reducing the pressure and stress of living in Lagos and other cities in the country. |
