I'm new in the UK so it's boring, still finding my bearing and I'm missing home. That being said, I do not regret leaving. I'll just make sure I go home every year. |

Hello house, I'm about to submit my application for tier 2 dependant visa, I wanna know if a cover letter is required. |
Luxxycool:@ justwise and others please help |
Hello house, I applied for a tier 2 dependant visa but decided to cancel the application because plans changed. I'll be applying again by Dec. I got a refund for the visa fee but not the IHS. My question is, do I need to take any step for IHS to be refunded or its going to be automatic like the visa fee. Its exactly 32days that I cancelled. |
Now I know that these bloggers will not make heaven. This scene happened at Akobo in ibadan and now I'm seeing Ajegunle. |
Jidivent:With what I've experienced in this thing, I do not think there is anything like a perfect location. UI used to be my perfect location until I wasted four hrs one day before I left disappointed, I never knew I was only lucky once. Another thing I realised is that even if there is a sọ called perfect area, once a rider makes a request, you most likely will be taken to another area, will you continue to go back to the sọ called perfect location? With that, one won't maximise fuel. As for me, I stay where a rider takes me to and wait for another request as long as its not a risky place. Generally this business is slow in Ibadan, at least that's my own opinion from experience. It is best done as a side hustle cos the wait times can be frustrating for someone like me. Like I said, it's my personal opinion, others may be smarter and luckier. |
Jidivent:I have to be sincere, I didn't calculate the fuel part mainly because I'm doing it to while away time. I'm on leave and I have my main salary job so I took it as a hubby than business but this is about to change as I'll start recording my expenses and profits more accurately. But with a rough estimate, I made more than 25k profit that week. Fuelling was about 20k and bolt commission was taken care of by the bonuses I got. No other expenses for now as my car is still in good condition.
|
Jidivent:Well so far so good. Its profitable no doubt but i heard its better in Lagos. So far I've gone two weeks and the experience isn't bad. Meeting different kinds of riders. Attached are the statistics of my income for the past week.
|
FizzieLee:So today is my third day, I can't really say exactly how I feel now but it's been adventurous. I don't know places where I could easily get trips so I just stay at home. I get few trips in the evening. I'll continue to learn as much as I can sha. I hopefully think I'll have a good story to tell like you.

Nice post, I took my car for inspection on Thursday and up until last night, I didn't get a single order. I had to go back to their office this morning, they worked on my application and tested with a riders app which worked. I'm currently at home in Oluyole estate waiting for my first order. I hope I'll be able to make some money before I resume back to work after my leave because it does seem like no one is taking taxify in Ibadan. I dont mind getting tips on best location to get riders ![]() First trial, three trips in the evening. |
edewor1991:Hello, I really don't know much about these things as my lady has been the one applying but from what I saw, you'll have to pay to email them and you can only do that through UKVI official site. |
Innopre983:Alright, thanks a lot, email will be sent tomorrow. Tier 2 general if there is anything like that. She got employed as a nurse. |
Good evening house, thanks for always helping out. My girl went for her biometrics today for tier 2 visa. Now she is bothered because she is not sure her iom certificate was scanned because it was returned to her before scanning. My question is, in case it wasn't scanned, will UKVI request for it before taking a decision or her application will just be refused based on non inclusion? Should an email be put through to them or she should just relax? |
Hello house, let me quickly appreciate the guys helping to sort out issues on this forum, thanks a lot. I'm confused and need someone to put me through, my fiancee just passed her ielts and nmc cbt and ready for other processes for a tier 2 visa but we are planning to apply together. We are planning to get married around March which is around the same time we would be applying for the visa. My questions.. Is it advisable to apply immediately after marriage? In applying, what other evidences would be needed to show the genuity of the marriage apart from the marriage cerficate? |
Hit to make sense baje, bàbà nla creativity. |

Congratulations sir...at least you won't be lonely in old age. |
Some parts of the United States are just as hot as Nigeria yet they don't remove thermostat. I've been using my car since 2013 and it works perfectly well with the thermostat intact. Before I agree with my mechanic on anything, I mostly check the internet and this has really helped. |
Things like this should replace outdated NYSC, different programs like compulsory one year farming and the likes and grant loans for interested youths after the one year. Wasting a whole year on NYSC should stop. |
infofta:Thanks for your quick response. You are most appreciated. |
Luxxycool:please I need an urgent reply...thanks |
Good afternoon house, I'll be travelling to South Africa soon. I want to know the documents that would be needed at the port of entry. Do I need my cousins rental agreement after having his copy of utility bill and invitation letter? What other documents do I need to tender?. |
This is pure comedy, it goes to show how governance in this country is. A responsible government will suspend and deal with all the top government functionaries involved asap. But now they'll have to form a committee to look into it for another six months. |
Riko2:Its very possible, I know a friend that is 11yrs younger than her mum. They look like sisters |
gentleking90:I was asked to reapply withing 10 working days so I reapplied before the deadline. |
obaxlove:it was when I got my passport |
welf99:Thanks a million, I got a reply from the consulate this evening exactly 3 weeks after I reapplied and the visa was granted. I really appreciate you and others that have been helping people on the forum. |
welf99:Thanks for your reply and help. |
