Former Nigerian President, Olusegun Obasanjo in his autobiography had opened a can of worms on many major stakeholders in the country.

One part of the book, My Watch shines light on the nation’s only Nobel laureate, Wole Soyinka, whom the elder statesman described as “a self-serving critic” who always loved to take the lead on all matters.
He wrote: “For Wole, no one can be good, nor can anything be spot-on politically except that which emanates from him or is ordained by him, His friends and loved ones will always be right and correct no matter what they do or fail to do.”
Obasanjo described Soyinka as “a misfit as a political analyst, commentator or critic,” adding that it was good that Mr. Soyinka did not go into politics.

“He is surely a better wine connoisseur and a more successful “aparo” (guinea fowl) hunter than a political critic, not to talk of what he would do as a politician,” Mr. Obasanjo said.
Obasanjo described Soyinka as “a misfit as a political analyst, commentator or critic,” adding that it was good that Mr. Soyinka did not go into politics.

“I take him seriously on almost all issues except on the political particularly Nigerian politics.”


He however thinks the Nobel Laurate has calmed down recently after he turned 80.

Obasanjo finally wrote: “If I go before him, I will bid him welcome when he arrives at the great beyond. I hope he would do the same if he succeeds in getting there before me and we find ourselves on the same side of the divide.”

Nigeria is on the brink of collapse,we need help more than ever before.The situation is getting out of hand.It looks like there are forces outside Nigeria that are anxiously waiting for the total collapse of this country.This enemy is beyond the bokoharam started by our selfish politicians. We are practically helpless including the government.All effort to get ammunition is being frustrated.
I feel like crying this morning when I learnt Konduga in Borno is under attack again.The US predict that Nigeria will be no more by 2015,thats their wish but it will never come to pass.It will only happen when we in Nigeria dont unite to fight the common enemy,it will happen if we don't have support from Nigerians outside the country,it will only happen when the Black people all over the world keep quite.The government is corrupt yes we know but we shouldn't allow the country to collapse because of corruption.We need help,we seriously need help before it is too late.

I so much wish we have someone like Atiku as the president.
There wont be any security challenge
Boko haram will be no more
He has been able to manage his businesses very well
He is versatile
He is modern
He is educated
He is not a religion fanatic

Yes Atiku is the right man for the job,not one old school papa who cant use computer and send email.

I cant but imagine the kind of fracas that will ensue in todays sittings.
I see the House of Reps. discussing about what happened last week
but no one will dare talk about impeachment.
The Senate will talk about inviting the IG and other things.

They are all bunch of selfish hypocrites.

Which Naijeria are they saving? They are only saving their selfish interest and acting the Northern script.

I'm so happy seeing a topic like this, they are just playing with our intelligence, we are not ready to fight for any stupid politician. I will rather sit at home rather than cast my vote when I know deep within me I know it won't count.

Dishonourables at it again, how many republican have you seen decamping to Democrat. APC and PDP are birds of a feather, they only decamp for their political gain without the interest of the masses. All these must end before we can move forward.

I never want military to take over. Let them stop deceiving us, if they are not corrupt they would have shown GEJ(grand master of corruption) the way out since. I repeat anyone of them that lost his life, dies for nothing sake.
