charlesemeka85:😂 Charles na just wishes I hope I could ride on .make we even qualify for that world cup. Id throw a party for that one. |
elyte89:I say a very big Amen to that . Then we will qualify like this Nigeria 7 points France. 7points Colombia 1 point South Korea 1 point. |
charlesemeka85:You might be right . But don't forget loyalty means the most. Bassey is the definition of that. Bassey made up his mind to play early for Nigeria. That's the fair price of the reward for loyalty. All the way from Rangers where he would go on to be Ajax highest signing. He chose Nigeria at that point where he was the peak. Currently Bassey isn't doing badly as well. He is not even average, I rate Bassey above the Chelsea boy, Adarabioyo. Bassey is learning and improving everyday in the EPL. He will be a constant face in the EPL and that experience puts him head and shoulders above many. Though we can argue that some are better than him, but Bassey is better exposed than any current CB for Nigeria. |
yinkeys:Saka is Arsenal Saka is the English golden boy He really needs to have a tough mindset and strong believe in himself to take that path. |
ChrisKels:The guy's game play is quietly evolving. Should he remain at Milan he will have a lot to benefit. In his last international match for us, he scored one of the most beautiful goal any super eagles player can dream about. His goal was only eclipsed by the home lose we suffered against Rwanda . He is bulking up nicely, with more muscles. |
Samueltemi337:The transfer cost was not the largest problem for Feyenoord, but the striker's wage would prove to be the most difficult one. Therefore, the purchase option, valid till June 1st, could not be exercised. https://www.zonalsports.com/transfers/cyriel-dessers-transfers-nottingham-forest |
Samueltemi337:Feynoord offered to build their team around him . They were going to play to his strength. He has the choice and when he secretly met Cremonese official for a deal. He was looking for a big leap to a big 5 league. Unfortunately it didn't work out well. |
Samueltemi337:Was it 4 years ago he led feynoord to the finals of conference league. Where he was golden boot winner. And where feynoord practically begged him to remain in their team so they could build around him. I think Arnie Slot was also his manager at that time. |
Clint02:Ngolo Kante is known for this. |
BascoVanVeli:Only when your team wins. |
BascoVanVeli:He missed a couple of clear chances though. He should relax |
yinkeys:Players don't reach potentials for many reasons. his was injury. He could have been better than ola Aina. |
DABIGATRAN:To what extent is this true? |
Mujtahida:As good as your argument is, it bears some self contradiction. The western ideology itself is driven by certain philosophical principles of libertarianism. Liberty meaning freedom. This idea has shaped them for many years and has helped them maintain a status of hegemony over every other race or group be it African, Asian as regards to Chinese or Indian or middle east as regards to Islamic driven ideologies. Liberal ideas operates as capitalism at the economic side. A principle of open market , the idea that let the people choose what they want. And the government acts a regulator. A free hand market. Liberal ideas operates under the guise of globalization, through technology as well as open borders we are able to move from one place to the other share ideas and values that helps improve our lifestyle. The Western world has over the centuries driven this principle across the rest of the world , because this has been the principle through which it used to acquire its wealth. Today, there are many growing concerns about this principle or ideology, as the western nations have recognized that an aspect of this Liberian ideology doesn't suit well with them. Hence, we are having demagogues who go about telling them that they cannot open their borders to foreigners again because these foreigners are sometimes religious extremist, economic migrant who reshape their own cultural identity. This is why we have Trump locking up borders, why we have UK voting BREXIT, and why we have other European nations asking Islamic faithfuls to return back to their original nation. The western world is sold on its on interest , and as such interest takes on different changes in time and generation so will their demands change. Have you wondered why it doesn't think about limiting its export of finished goods to third world countries, but rather it thinks about limiting immigrants from third world countries? They preach openness of borders. But now certain political far right parties will rather see to a controlled and limited number of migration. When you talk about protection of cultural identity, the western world says cultural identity doesn't help globalization, should this answer be limited to only third world countries ? Why is it that when third world nations immigrants move there they no longer think about globalization and liberalism.. France you mention are the face of European identity with Liberalism. That's why you see many blacks there. This is because that's essentially France's cultural ideology. That you are french is by orientation first before colour. This is different from racism on the other hand. That you look down on one race or don't approve of it doesn't mean you cannot be white french and look down on a black frenchman. Self preservation is good, but is there any problem with the African man be it a Yoruba man or Zulu or Ashanti man living with his family in Europe and holding on to his African values in relation to his family. Or is it the Chinese or Indian man with his traditional values, or the Arab man with his Islamic values. this are simple values to relate and tolerate. And this is the beauty of a multicultural society. When does this multiculturalism become a problem, is it through the media propaganda we are witnessing these days about how bad migrants have now become. |
Now that CHAN is postponed. Will they disband the team. Within now and later date what happens when these guys run abroad for trials and sign for one of those teams outside Nigeria. |
Joebie:The point is we don't need him. Even when he actualizes his dreams to play for England, we wish him good luck. |
Joebie:Even if it is EPL. I, as a Super Eagles fan wholeheartedly wishes him the best of his club career and hopeful desire to play for three lions |
Kog45:Is it too early to say Forest will qualify for Champions league. |
solonnachi:He should wait for his Three lions call up. At this point we hold the trump card. |
AndSunGorilla:I'm so sold on Paul. I know once he breaks the jinx this second half of the season he can help his team stay up |
Isak vs Osimhen who is better in terms of Strength Pace Positional Awareness Link up Physicality Ball control/Touches Air presence |
TheSuperNerd:Hmm quite true. Nothing is certain. But then again it looks like he has worked himself to top 5 for next year Ballon d'or. You'd agree with me that his first half of the season stats are outstanding enough for that recognition. If an African player makes the top 5 Ballon d'or list -and for any other African player to possibly outdo him on that list then it must mean that that player had a personal outstanding season like Mo is having and must have won his team at least a major trophy. Liverpool may slip or lose form at some point in the season. But they are more like to win the EPL with 10 points gap. |
By December I have conceded that Mo Salah is the next caf African player of the year. |
Iwobi is definitely Fulham's player of the season Match after match , he is unplayable. He is the heart and soul of this Fulham team He plays every position up front effectively His pace and endurance have improved. |
Iwobi |
jihday:That Italian team got to play in the world cup final. We were the closest to eliminating them. Sadly the inexperience of Eguavone cost us that match. That Cameroonian team was the predecessor to the Egyptian team that dominated African football. That Cameroonian team had the likes of Patrick Mboma , Rigobert Song and young Eto'o. They were unstoppable and even when the Senegalese team of El Haj Diouf was at it's peak it couldn't beat the Cameroonian side. Not until 2004 before we were able to break that yoke. Remember who did the magic, JJ okocha with that wonderful freekick, and Kanu with that lovely , sexy penetrating through pass to Utaka Brazil is always Brazil. In a friendly match to launch the 2003 newly built abuja stadium. Where we had an emerging talent in Ronaldinho. Don't forget they had just won the world cup a year earlier. |
My God! I'm having goosebumps watching this. I mean most of them are not even Nigerians to say this. I sometimes worry that we are so patriotic here that it shrouds objectiveness. But hearing outsiders feel this way about Nigeria's true potential and strength if we qualify for a world cup is lovely . Because God knows if this group of boys get a good hand of a manager, he will craft out signs and wonders from them in the next world cup. Watch them at the next AFCON . All we need is another good manager because we got a team that will beat a Moroccan team on their home turf in the finals. This boys got experience. I see that sparkles in Eguavone's eyes. And I have seen him looking confused lately. He can be timid. What we need is a coach with a decent amount of crazy sparkles to really tweak this team we got and we are gonna be world beaters. I really pray we qualify for this world cup. I know it's so hard and tough judging by our current group position. But then when we do qualify I'd remember this post again. And I really be grateful to God. Because the world cup isn't something to miss for the super eagles to miss twice. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DDz7uhiRPN7/?igsh=MWZhaTU1aXpvbHBzdA== |
charlesemeka85:Nwakali is too big for that kind of rubbish. na Lookman suppose call nwakali say he don win award ooo. |
comodo:The average man spends time relating with his phone than with another person. So it is just normal that our phone habits define us. |
Joezinho:I really think all is not well between both players. Perhaps one does better at masking his sentiment than the other. While the other may not know how to disguise at such. No need for the fans to make a molehill out of such. So long as they have a working relationship for the national team they represent. I want to ask if Ademola congratulated Osimhen last year openly? If he did so and the gesture is not returned then that's unfair. If he didn't and the gesture is mirrored back , that's ok. I recall when both were leading the scorers chat in Seria A, Lookman had openly said he would catch up/surpass Osimhen in the top scorer race, but Osimhen will post a slightly cryptic message on Yoruba saying "iwofa lenu" I feel Osimhen's message didn't go down well for many neutrals like me who thought Osimhen shouldnt have said that if they didn't have that cordiality. Because I'm well familiar with yoruba customs and insult can be an integral parts of relationship. Osimhen will end up as Seria A top scorer, league winner and best player. While after that incident Lookman couldn't score frequently as he had thought he would. If Boniface won this. We know who will carry it on his head the most . It will be none other than Osimhen. But since the "iwofa lenu" matter up to the Finidi George matter , up to what almost seemed like a shameful transfer saga. Osimhen has adjusted himself and I want to believe he is cool with Lookman but choosing not to post him is another miscalculation or wrong move. If Hakimi had won , chances are Osimhen will post to congratulate him for succeeding him as the African best, so why not Lookman? |
Samueltemi337:Corrected. Thanks |
opes:Hahahaha. I see someone noticed what Peseiro was trying to say. He tagged both Osimhen and Ademola. A reminder that he was an architect to such honour. Not also forgetting he gave us our highest winning scoreline. Sao Tome 0-10 Nigeria . |
