some tribalistic responses here are worrisome# we don't need to be tribalistic again..let's bred a new breed. our leaders have failed; we youths can't afford to else we perpetually condemn MotherNigeria to helluva heritages.

What about Thunder Balogun that betted with his friend in a penalty and the last penalty he played actually entered and came out through his friend which was the goalkeeper and teared the goal net and went out..then the friend died and thunder balogun won the bet..it's so confusing to be a naijarian....hahahaha

Foreign Affairs › President Trump Quoted Nigerian Poem And Called It "Irish Poem" by Mac2016(op): 1:48pm On May 16, 2017
On Thursday, March 16, 2017, President Donald Trump welcomed the Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny to the White House.
In his address, Trump quoted his favourite proverb which he said was Irish. "As we stand together with our Irish friends, I’m reminded of an Irish proverb – and this is a good one, this is one I like, I’ve heard it for many, many years and I love it. Always remember to forget the friends that proved untrue, but never forget to remember those that have stuck by you" said President Trump.

The problem with this proverb that it isn't Irish. People on Twitter immediately picked on the wrong attribution.

After some research it was discovered that the proverb was actually from a poem titled 'Remember To Forget'. Nigerian writer Albashir Adam Alhassan actually wrote the poem.

You can read the full poem below;
Always remember to forget,
The things that make you sad,
But never forget to remember,
The things that make you glad.

Always remember to forget,
The friends that proved untrue,
But never forget to remember,
Those that have stuck to you.

Always remember to forget,
The trouble that passed away,
But never forget to remember,
The blessings that come each day.

Always remember to do your duty,
And some kindness day by day,
But never forget to live a useful and happy life,
That is the only way.
Albashir Adam Alhassan was born in Kano in the mid 80s but is from Niger state. He attended the Aminu Kano Commercial College, Kano and Bayero University Kano.
The line from Albashir Adam Alhassan's poem has been erroneously said to be an Irish proverb on the Internet.

Free wifi should have sites you can visit purposefully for sourcing info not downloading entertainment videos or so. Free wifi is possible. Wifi can even be embedded in our electric bulbs so it would be accessible across a wider spectrum in Nigeria that the remotest part of the nation would have internet free of charge; free access to info, that would as well save us transport money to parks for wifi

On this note, I think our judicial system has to be improved upon. why? because while some pple seek dissolution for not enough sex some go for too much of sex, why can't we have a pairing program for couples seeking divorce. if u have little sex and u want to quit then we pair u with the husby of this woman who can offer u more then vice versa. hehehehe. just thinking! grin grin grin

Narrow minded question. Wrong system has successfully corrupted the bearer of the question. Laplace made numerous contributions to the world of science and he was made a professor at the age of 20 by academic of his time and that was long before the jet-age that we are presently. I wonder what Tolu would have made of Laplace if he was part of the people to nominate him for professorship!
